The more I look at this I think I'd like the set a bit more if there was more contrast between the colors.

I'm not sure how this is received but this could be an additional add-on kit for you mono boys/girls if Tidal is well received

A question that I forgot to add to the form.

Would the set being GMK prevent you from supporting this project?

Could we have the numpad fade to white? Angle from 0, 2, 6, +?

I have plans to add a mono kit so this would throw a wrench in the mix.

Also I quite like the mono numpad.

I can only assume this set will cost a lot if it is run through GMK, considering the complexity of unique colors in the base set.

A complexity of a set does not increase price of a set. The number of keys and kits would although.

I may not be as well versed as you in this area; but wouldn't getting more non-stock colors in a base set would inevitably increase the cost?

edit: I suck at editing the format.

No, custom colors do not affect pricing but they do affect MOQ.

I wouldn't put too much of the eggs in the basket yet, I'm more of less checking with the vendor on something. That will be the decider on what profile this will run in. I believe either choice will be pretty amazing in any case.

Love this in Cherry. I'd be interested in any Cherry profile (GMK for ABS, and Infinikey most likely for PBT).

KAM/KAT would see me skip this set, unfortunately. I personally am not a fan of the glossiness; I have KAM Starry Night, and barely lasted a day with it on my board (though that particular set haunts me for a number of reasons, the texture was the deciding factor).

If PBT is still desired in a non-Cherry profile, XDA may be a good option.

I have a cream Leopold FC750 and this would literally look like the beach on my board.

KAT isn't glossy though in the least.

Also ePBT isn't accepting any reverse dye sub at the moment as far as I'm concerned. This set is leaning towards GMK anyhow

Yeah. Neither KAM nor KAT has to be glossy. Pretty sure it was choice made for that set. KAM Wraith is not going to be glossy and almost all other KAT sets aren't planned to be either.

Any chance of Infinikey PBT? Between sanctuary rebirth and bred delivering now and some samples of WoB, it looks like they've got reverse dyesub down.

Heart says yes, wallet says no.

On a serious note, I'll probably be in with either profile regardless. Additional mono kit also a good call.
Now the question is whether to offer this as a mono kit with gradient add ons or the other way around.

Infinikey knows how to make reverse dye-sub legend.
Sa, Kat and Mt3 are high profile.
Gmk is high cost.
Infinikey has a reasonable price and supports various layouts.
I saw Infinikey Sanctuary Rebirth recently, and It looked really great.

Kits look good for the most part! I would suggest changing R4 1.25u Menu to Fn, though, since there's no 1.25u Fn key anywhere in the set right now — a key that's regularly seen used on 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL and other keyboards. If Menu is something that you really feel is worth including, it should be in the add-on kit, but it also may not be necessary at all. Either way, Fn is more important.

Other than that, there's a duplicate set of darker blue 1u Ctrl and Alt keys: one pair in the base kit and one pair in the add-on kit. I think the one in the base kit is superfluous, as 1u LCtrl and LAlt would only be useful for 40% boards, if I'm not mistaken.

Finally, it'd be cool to see a R3 1.75u Function key added to the add-on kit. Mac users may like a R3 1.75u Command as well.
(Edit: Looks like there's a 1.75u Function in the mono kit, but not in base 🤔)

I'd also maybe move numpad 00 to the add-on kit, not sure.

Ah yes, I see the duplicate ctrl/alt in the add-on kit. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'll be adding R3 1.75 Function to add-on

Replacing Menu for Fn and adding Menu to add-on

Base kit for the most part will stay the same

- I'll say the same thing I say of all Infinikey-run sets so far: swap R3 #~ in the base kit with the R3 \| key in the add-on kit, and both kits will be cleaner for it.

- You have same-colored F13 keys in both base and add-on kits (I'd keep only the one in the add-on kit).

- An R4 1.25U Fn key (independent of the Menu key) would be a nice addition in either kit.

- You could replace the R1 white Esc key in the mono kit with an R3 white Esc (so there will be R2 and R3 white Esc keys in there, as the white R1 Esc key is already in the base kit).
