I would also say the supply of them may cause an increase in the market value of them. Don't surprised if people want to charge more, and don't even want to sell but want to trade for other things.

Peddle your supply/demand somewhere else, these values are fixed! :P

That's the thing. How can we make an estimated value when people won't sell them, or at least sell them publicly? The only I've seen around were for trading, and the trade value seems to indicate they hold them at a higher value than $8-12.
Take a look in the classifieds. There are some there right now. I understand that trade value =/= cash value. Like I said I was just looking for a very general cash value.

lost eden, G80-3000H*MGB market value around $75 for average to $125 for excellent condition, though some people may pay the same price for the keycaps alone. If you go that route you can usually sell the naked board for $25-30. The clears aren't really worth any more per se, but might be to specific buyer. 11800 are not worth a lot, usually something like $20-30.

Off-topic, but your response reminded me, Ivanx2; do you know which Cherry keyboards had 1x "0" (zero) and "+" keys?  I'm looking for options to fill out the SkiData board.  I'm still hunting for those sweet windowed stepped caps-lock, num-lock, and scroll-lock caps, too.

ISO winkeyless 1800 would be your best fit obviously. There are some other boards like the Alcatel MMK which have those keys and windowed keys but it have a fulltouch caps not stepped. There are some more obscure models as well, but it would be a wild goose chase to even bother making a list probably as I have not seen them for sale ever.

Thanks!  I have a G80-1800 on the way from eBay.de, it seems to have the smaller number pad keys, although I think it's white keys, not a great match for the MY7000 doubleshots.  Those windowed keycaps for lock keys seem the rarest, have only seen them in pictures.

G80-1501HAD is probably the easiest model to find with windowed lock keys, on ebay.de pretty often.

I have one of those on the way as well, from the pics on eBay.de it looked pretty beige.  The G80-1800 is white (pale gray?).  And the Wyse keycaps I have are gray/blue...

Would sure be nice to have one set that works for the SkiData.  I'm not a huge fan of the stock colors, but I may get them anyway just so I can stop obsessing over these.

1501 comes in 2 colorways, classic 2tone and hellgrau. If you got 2tone one, then standard 1800H** 2tone should match it just fine.

I've been on a bit of a spending spree and I'm looking to make back a little on the items that I'll never use. Given the fact that I priced my CCnG set too low, I figured I'd give this thread a shot to price things more accurately.  ;D

IMSTO Thick PBT Dark Blue on Grey Incomplete Set (Closeup Photo)
I don't believe the dark blue on grey is a common color combination, or maybe it was a prototype, I don't know. Any suggestion on what it's worth?

Thanks in advance!

Those dark blue legends are pretty odd Mashby. They looks like black on grey to me, although it might just be the lighting in the photos. Imsto sells these colours for $86. Since you're missing a few caps I'd say maybe $65 but since it's an obscure colour the price might be higher.

Thanks for the feedback Photek.

You're right, the dark blue makes it look like black in some photos. I took a closeup of a couple of IMSTO key caps to show that it's actually blue.

A Tale Of Three Caps by Michael Ashby, on Flickr

Overall, it's a really nice set and I'd love to keep it given that this specific color appears to be rare, but since I'm just not wild about PBT, I don't think I'll ever use them.  :-[

I just had a look at the closeup photo you linked in the original post. I can definitely see the blue and it really is much darker than the blue Imsto currently offers. The colour still seems a bit odd to me since Imsto has no listing of it anywhere. Where did you get them? Also, I guess you could try auctioning them off since they're pretty obscure.

I bought a "Bizarre Key Cap Collection" from Mkawa that included a lot of key cap prototypes as well as a couple of incomplete sets and this is one of them.

I went ahead and posted a Classified listed for $75 shipped, no PayPal fees.

Thanks again for your input Photekq!

I would say depending on condition probably $40-60, also depending on how bad someone wants it and if that yellow is a rare color.

Unless I'm buying it and I'd give you $15 shipped  :p

Recently saw a set of Valentines go up into the hundreds.
How much do they actually cost? For a basic 87 set, white basic set with pink mods. I really want a set but I'm not gonna drop over $100 on it.

When TechKeys sold his extras that he bought, he sold the base for $80 and the tenkeypad for $22. He also was selling them at profit for his business remember though.

I feel like they are rare now so it goes higher than $80.

That's called SoWaRe, and typically it would cost around what any of the more rare sets cost, maybe about $120-150, if you can find one for sale.

How much for a keyboard that uses the NMB Hi-Tek clicky switch?

Here are some pictures:
20938-020940-120942-2

Every key on it works (I am typing on it right now), the keycaps have almost all of their texture left, and there is no yellowing. After I first found it I cleaned it up and tested it so it is a little dusty and needs another good cleaning to the outside.

Depends if it is fullsize, or TKL.
TKL generally retains a greater percentage of purchase price I think.

Would you nicely give a number? like 80?

Number you paid (minus) $5-$10 = your answer

I don't know what you paid for it

For easily obtainable items I usually say 20% less than current average retail is a good starting point.

seen them go from around $80 to in upwards of $100, just depends on what you can get them for.

ALSO: Looking for a price check on a Poker with Vintage blacks, lubed, stickered, steel case, and no caps.
