no it's not. OP states that the green is N7, the mockup does not necessarily represent the approriate color though. look at dolch and how that ended up, looking way better IRL than on the mockup. i don't mean it's bad, i just want to know how the green is going to look IRL.
I have updated the OP with GMK colors since the mockup doesn't represent them well.
Edit: I have also added a field in the form for order changes. Something to help me sort the changes to orders, and hopefully make the invoice process quicker.

The reason we did not include it, is because it would look weird. We are running a traditional RGB pack, that covers shift, ctrl, and alt. If we included a R3 control, it would look terrible. There have been sets that included the R3 control though.

You can access the blue characters (like the brackets, @, or Euro-symbol) using Alt Gr.

As for GMK's MOD pack,MD have launched RGBY and CMYW,,in addition to Blue MOD even the less possible RED mod,there's so much GMK's full sets and MOD including CMYK V2 with high compatibility, the demand for RGBK is less. Because all these GMK'GB,have already done and running now and upcoming,split and decrease the demand to hit the MOQ. In one word,the RGBK is a beautiful and right GB happens at right place but at wrong time.

Not everyone has gave up on using caps matching his country layout, using Alt caps on AltGr position won't kill me, but it's something I really appreciate to have.

Some of us, myself including, think this buy was thoughtfully planned out.
The different row and size of keys is intended to give you the most flexibility in layout. This is desirable because it allows this set to be used with many different keyboards. This set is future proof if you will... Allowing you to use it for any keyboard you'll own in the foreseeable future.

The form has a radio button to select if you're updating an order. The way I understood it is you enter the new number you want to order. So if you ordered one previously and you're adding one you would put two in the quantity text box.

We got the order in while I was asleep. As of now we have met MOQ. We are just over 300.
So a quick update.
We are currently at 318 orders. We believe that we can make it to 400, and have the winkeys added. So we will keep the GB open for at least one more week and see how it goes. We have contaced GMK about a revised key list @400 sets, with 1u and 1.25u winkeys. Once we recieve that information I will update the OP. We were initially told that if we had 400 orders we could add the 4 extra keys without a price change. If anything differs once the mockup is received, I will let everyone know, but I would not expect it to.

If you want to add to order, is it just to make a new order on the total amount?
The form has a radio button to select if you're updating an order. The way I understood it is you enter the new number you want to order. So if you ordered one previously and you're adding one you would put two in the quantity text box.

Invoicing is completed, with the exception of two orders that I need some additional info on. We have lost a few orders over the past couple days, so we will leave orders open for now and hopefully we can get some straglers. Otherwise I will make up for the extras if need be. If anyone needs to adjust their orders at this point, or if the invoice is incorrect in anyway, please let me know. You can either PM me here, or send me an email. Whichever is easiest. I will update the thread once we are ready to move forward.

I wanted to let everyone know the current status of the GB.
So about 4 days ago, I received an email saying that the PP account used for the GB has had a hold placed on it. There were 4 pieces of information I needed to confirm with PP in order to have the hold lifted. One of those pieces of information was delivery conformations for about 20 orders. I contacted paypal and explained the purpose of the funds and why I will be unable to provide them with delivery info at this time. On Friday, I received a phone call from the rep that is handling my case. He informed me that since the account does not have a history of being a merchant, and due to the large amount of incoming funds, they placed a hold on it. I explained the purpose again to him, and he said he understood. He said that in order to release the funds, I would need to provide the shipping info. So that basically means that I am unable to transfer any money out of the account, to GMK, until after the GB is completed and shipped. He mentioned that it was a new policy that was recently implemented. We are currently stuck, in terms of options. I am going to call them again on Monday, and see if I can get some more information and try to resolve this issue. Whatever happens, I will keep everyone informed and I am terribly sorry for all of this. I spoke with a few GB runners prior to this, and none had ever ran into issues their first time. The only thing that makes sense to me is the policy update he mentioned. I have not been able to find this in the policy so I hope that I can get in touch with someone that is more willing to accommodate this than he was.
I did ask him, in the event we have to refund all the orders, if the fees would be refunded as well. He said that they would refund the exact amount that was paid through the invoice. So the only other issue would be currency conversion. Radio and I are trying to figure out the best way to do this, if we are unable to work it out with PP. I know there are a lot of people really interested in this GB, and we will do our best to make sure it happens. How exactly do they want to have those 20 deliveries confirmed?There need tracking info for a specific set of orders, many of which are overseas. And they need delivery confirmation from the tracking.
I would declare I alreday got my kit if it helps :p
If they want actual tracking for the shipments, maybe it would be the cheapest solution to send 20 empty envelopes to users from the US.

This group buy is for a GMK Red(V1), Green(N7), Blue(V4) modpack with black(CR) legends, hosted by radio_killah and myself. Invoicing will begin on August 18th, unless we reach MOQ earlier. If we reach MOQ sooner, we will begin invoicing at that time.
Buyer is responsible for base cost + shipping costs.

CONUS Shipping - $6 (3 or less sets)
INTL Shipping - $9 (3 or less sets)

All packages will be sent via USPS. Once packages have been dropped off with USPS, we assume no liability for lost or stolen packages. I wanted to let everyone know the current status of the GB.
So about 4 days ago, I received an email saying that the PP account used for the GB has had a hold placed on it. There were 4 pieces of information I needed to confirm with PP in order to have the hold lifted. One of those pieces of information was delivery conformations for about 20 orders. I contacted paypal and explained the purpose of the funds and why I will be unable to provide them with delivery info at this time. On Friday, I received a phone call from the rep that is handling my case. He informed me that since the account does not have a history of being a merchant, and due to the large amount of incoming funds, they placed a hold on it. I explained the purpose again to him, and he said he understood. He said that in order to release the funds, I would need to provide the shipping info. So that basically means that I am unable to transfer any money out of the account, to GMK, until after the GB is completed and shipped. He mentioned that it was a new policy that was recently implemented. We are currently stuck, in terms of options. I am going to call them again on Monday, and see if I can get some more information and try to resolve this issue. Whatever happens, I will keep everyone informed and I am terribly sorry for all of this. I spoke with a few GB runners prior to this, and none had ever ran into issues their first time. The only thing that makes sense to me is the policy update he mentioned. I have not been able to find this in the policy so I hope that I can get in touch with someone that is more willing to accommodate this than he was.
I did ask him, in the event we have to refund all the orders, if the fees would be refunded as well. He said that they would refund the exact amount that was paid through the invoice. So the only other issue would be currency conversion. Radio and I are trying to figure out the best way to do this, if we are unable to work it out with PP. Worst case scenario is that we will have to provide the difference out of pocket for those orders. Again, I am incredibly sorry for this. I know there are a lot of people really interested in this GB, and we will do our best to make sure it happens. Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury to pay GMK directly, or we would have explored that option already.
I will let you all know more once I have more info from PP.
So an update on things.
Paypal is not budging on the hold. I have spoken with quite a few reps, and they have all said the same thing. So at the very least we will have to refund all the orders. From there, it's kind of up in the air. We can either cancel the GB and revisit at a later date, or explore other payment options. We haven't spoken much on the latter, since we are more focused on ensuring all money is refunded. I don't think anyone who joined the GB will lose any money, I think that we may have to cover the $0.30 per invoice. Paypal did say that they would be able to work with me and have that credited back to me, but I have to begin refunding for that to happen. The other issue is currency conversion for intl orders. Paypal said that they would work with me on that as well, but I am not too confident on that, since they are a business designed to make money. We will most likely begin refunds tomorrow. I ask that everyone keeps the funds in USD for the time being, until I have more information on what the plans moving forward are. Ultimately, this is your decision though. Radio and I will do our best to make this nightmare as painless for all involved. I am extremely sorry for all of this trouble. I really wanted this to succeed and we are facing some massive obstacles right now.
If there are any questions or concerns, be sure to post them here. I will try and get back to you all as quickly as possible, but my time is limited currently while I am working and attending college. Worst case, Radio will step in to offer any solutions or answers.

It's not a generally recognized practice yet, as organizers have been getting by with charging as goods up to now. But I am recommending this practice going forward, to prevent these types of hangups.

Speaking for at least myself, this is my least preferred route. Although Massdrop just ran RGBW and CMYW using Originativeco's left overs and that seemed to go well. We could get this to probably tip at 400 sets again using their audience.
As for the refunds, like Ghost said, thank you so much to the offers by people to donate $1 but for the time being we will continue to just refund in full and pay out of pocket if necessary. This was our oversight and we are going to correct it, or have Paypal do it :)).

I think if you went with massdrop the best thing to do would be to run it as part of a classic beige buy (not sure whats happening with photekq's at the moment)
Considering how well granite went I'm sure it would hit MOQ pretty easily
Quick update on my end. I have sent an email to Kunal at Massdrop to see what we can do about still making this happen.
This sort of issue has occurred before with group buys. I know somewhere we have addressed how to deal with this issue. I think one methods was sending out empty shipping notifications when the payment was made. But I'm not really sure.
What jdcarpe mentioned also seems like a good idea. He has run enough group buys to know what's up.
Anyways, a solution exists that avoids catching the attention of Paypal, we just need to find it.

They don't mean literally combining the set, just if one sets MOQ is achieved then the MOQ for another set is much lower, combining the order but not the set. So you can buy either both or neither :thumb: I'm pretty sure atleast :-\

What sucks though is that us filthy Europeans are facing import fees as Massdrop won't declare it "20$".
This is what is most important to both Ghost and I and Massdrop. We understand there will be more labor costs and other taxes involved with this buy now that it is going through Massdrop. I wish I could do more for our international friends.. Really sorry about that guys.. But I am working with Massdrop to insure that the price point for the set stays as close as possible to the original price that we offered.
However the set with the windows keys will not be changed. The set is set in stone.
Massdrop shipping and value declaration will add another ~$40 to the cost of the set for me. Will make it more difficult to justify. Not that this is particularly relevant to anyone else; just something to think about.

It is to allow for the flat rate shipping of 3 keycap sets per box. That part is really out of my control. My work around would to be to join the drop multiple times buying in bunches of 3 if you wanted to purchase more. OR you could just email massdrop support about it and they could easily help you out.

From the drops I've been in, things speed up at first, slow down a bit, then speed up again toward the end.
MassDrop only allows order up to 3 items, so I'm not sure how it's gonna work for grouped order for asian country, I hope they're getting in touch with MD.On the discussion page, it tells you how to contact them for a bulk order.

As much as we would like to consider this option, we cannot. It would not go well with Massdrop if I were to order a large number of orders to reship as a proxy. If others are willing to proxy then that is great, but Ghost and I cannot.

I could set this up with GMK and Massdrop again but it seems like there are already a lot of other RGBYW GMK sets out there right now. Both Originative and Geekkeys have them in their shops. The only difference being fewer keys in their respective sets.

We need more black legends mods sets there's enough of white legends one.
More keys = feeling of more value. Even if you aren't using them all.
CMYK would definitely go down well with me.

Wow that is really bad. I would contact MD about the issue and see about getting a replacement possibly. Radio and I were not involved after the PP fiasco, so MD would have to be the ones to sort you out if you need a replacement.
Glad to hear that everyone is happy with the set. I am very happy how the keys turned out.

mine turned up in exactly the same condition: too much eyeliner on some of the shifts: just enough to ensure that i couldn't make a matched pair. the good news is it's a bit more difficult to notice on the kbd.
on the other hand:
wtf GMK? where is the quality control?
wtf massdrop? i bet the folks on the staff who got into the gb picked and chose theirs so they matched and distributed the **** keys to everybody not in their click. i.e. f**k all the customers who aren't our friends.
so... no more massdrop for me, like ever again. also... I'm done with keycaps in general particulalry anything gmk.

What is funny is that I actually don't remember if Ghost and I got Massdrop warehouse guys to sort the keys or GMK.

I don't think there is anything Ghost or I can do about it now but I sent along a message to GMK about the issue.Interested in their answer, let's see...
