There is only one person that can confirm that, and what rate it would be that I know of and that is sherryton. I asked them this question in PM but they have not responded to me.

We are making some progress on orders but still have a long way to go until we reach MOQ.

Yes the color was a bit off from the camera I used, refer to the last pic for more accurate color for the Cyan.
Also, I would like to mention for any vendors, if you want to order larger amounts for resale I have zero issues with this due to the high MOQ involved.

I wasn't sure if I was going to order a mod set anymore as purple wasn't my choice and danielucf pointed out how it would look odd without the 9 keys including Insert/Home/PgUp and then also the numpad.

So I put it on one of my 1800 mock ups and I think it looks pretty good (obviously not accurate fonts or symbols). Time to submit my order now

I am a bit new to mechanical keyboards, so forgive me if this is a silly question.

Will it be awkward to type on if I mix these Cherry profile keycaps with the standard profile keycaps my board came with?

Some people mix profiles and find nothing wrong with it. I myself would rather cut off my hands. It's up to you.
Also there are still plenty of bargains to be had in the used market for Cherry doubleshot sets. Cherry G81-1800H*U/H**US and 8000H**US amoung others come up on a fairly regular basis on ebay for under $40. Quite conveniently these sets on offer here are ideal to make them compatible with other keyboards.

GEEZUS H. That is absolutely beautiful. It adds that certain appeal to the 1800 that is typically ignored around here at GH.

Have already ordered a few. I want this so badly.

Right, no MOQ no keys. GMK is not so flexible, won't run less keys for higher price per set.
Not only that but not meeting MOQ and having to cancel the order will likely burn me forever with GMK.

Hmmm... hopefully this group buy will be able to get off the ground. I'd be willing to pick up another set also but we're not really close enough for it to be that helpful.

Is there any way we can possibly get some vender support on this to bump the numbers up a little?

Also, is it possible that since this is only for modifier sets, people aren't as likely to jump in cause they aren't sure what they would look like on the board. It might not be a bad idea to move some of the concept pictures to the top of the thread. I know I fell in love with the idea of purple mods and the bright green Esc key because of this concept:

Yes I know. I have been meaning to get some mock up done to show all the keys in each set but I have been very busy with other things.
So far I posted it only here, DT, and bit tech as those are the only places I frequent really. Some other have posted at some other places like reddit and maybe more. Most orders are from here and DT currently.

what do you think of this idea to try and get more NEW people to order. And by NEW I mean mostly the reddit crowd and some people here who haven't had Cherry DS before and therefor aren't interested in these partial sets to go with the miss-matched OEM profiles.

I purchase XX more MY7000 boards from Ocean Tech and offer the necessary keys again for $15 ONLY if they are purchasing a white-on-purple mod pack from this GB. Somehow Ivan & I combine shipping them together as 1 package. This would get someone new to mechanical keyboards an almost complete set of Cherry DS for under $70 bucks.
-60% boards such as poker or GH60 would only be missing a spacebar
-TKL boards such as a FILCO would only be missing the spacebar and then have the Delete/End/PgDn in the wrong profile
-Full size boards would be missing the spacebar and 2x sized numpad 0 and have the Delete/End/PgDn in the wrong profile

Changing colors after GMK ordered custom color plastic stock for us will likely just piss them off. Combing some deal with a used set could be a good idea.

The main problem is that people who do not intend to buy usually votes on IC. You get fake numbers of who will be buying sets.

I'm still waiting to put my order ion the document though but I'm buying one set of each at least.

I finally placed my order, not sure why the numbers are so low other than the extremely busy last three months of group buys. People are probably just broke.

I see this as more reason to finish those Cherry legends and get more new colors at Signature Plastics.
