How does it feel different from other standard plate materials?

I'm not sure how I feel about the carbon fiber bottom plate. Using a material meant to be lightweight in place of a weight just seems weird to me. Still a beautiful board though, especially with the multicolor weight.

Light boards are great. It's like an un-weight 👉😎👉

yuktsi's mentioned he likes the deeper sound CF can result in, while still retaining the approximate feeling of aluminum.

My CF-LX bears that out pretty well, it can be a thock monster, especially with tactiles. But it's not harsh to type on.

Yeah that's the reason I ask about cf. I love linears on brass plates and have some vints that I was going to use on another board. I could just buy more and do both boards with them :shrug:. Linears are also fine on aluminum for me. Who knows, maybe linears are great on CF and I don't know what I'm missing.

When a group buy needs weeks to hit MOQ, or is filling all orders placed with no cap, then yes it does.  But when all 100 slots fill up in 2 seconds, well it only lasts 2 seconds.

Yeah the group buy was only posted a few hours before it went live, and then all 100 spots were claimed in seconds.

Well, to be fair (and to repeat what others already explained before), the first form had some problems at the initial GB time and therefore yuktsi posponed it for 30 minutes, opened the form already but just counted all the form entries that were entered at / after the set time (so you could prepare the form and only klick submit at the correct time). Usually, it might have taken 30 to 45 seconds until all spots would have been taken.

Someone asked something similar about WKL, and he said to email him once he gets the invoice. So I’d just say to wait until you get it then ask if he can add it.
