[WTB] Someone to fix a DK 1008!
« on: Wed, 19 August 2020, 15:08:27 »
Hello!

My other half has had a DK 1008 for a very long time and has grown rather attached to it!

It slowly started to disconnect randomly, and is now at the point that it will not stay connected at all regardless of the cable position. I'd like to see if we can salvage it before just buying another as it's a dear friend to her.

I did take it apart but it didn't really reveal much in the way of bad solder or loose connections - but I'm not an expert.

I'm in the UK but happy to post elsewhere.

Any help? Happy to pay!

  • Soldering is my native language.
