The price of it isn't even that bad but getting it shipped to me would cost a bit more than I'd like. Gonna be around 130 for me which is fine til I start thinking of the other things I could buy with 130 dollars.

If these are GMK then they are ABS doubleshots.

YMMV with the other question, always gotta know what your getting into.

same thought here, Ivan run a GB for FULL set with many add-on keys and it even cheaper than these, 142$ for a tenkeyless set doesn't sound right to me

Thats basically what I'm after too. Sounds like there might be a future GB for windowed function keys, however, I'm not sure what colors will be used.

Not really sure about this but I think having 2 or more color in a set is more expensive than those with only 1 color

In any case it is certainly true you get a lot more for your money in my buy and the set covers a lot more different keyboards physically. It's up to you to decide if you want to pay more for 2tone Dolch style or not.

As I understand it, GMK made the original Dolch sets, so they should already have the right color on hand, if they source it from their archives. Very interesting info! :) So do you know what the color codes were for Originative and for authentic Dolch caps, i.e., am I actually seeing a difference?

it is important to properly analyze the different options and prices, because Originative, Korean GB, and Ivan's GB are not the same. Originative is a business that also paid in advance for the cap sets, runs with the cost for keeping them in stock until sold, and its 87 kit is now at $95 and sold out, I do not know where the individual above got a price of $85 for 110 keys. It may be an old price that by all means is not comparable with available offers anymore.

GBs are suppose to serve the community with otherwise non available keyboard parts taking advantage of the community buying power. I do not think that making a profit by running a GB is legitimate, but it is hard to say if someone around GH is, or is not, profitting out of GBs. Any how, the good part is that we can always choose where we put our hard earned dollars.

Not that you shouldn't join Ivan's GB (as well?) but this one was updated to reflect the $132 price for 113 keys.

I think for Dolch you would just need to add lighter (CC) alphas later to the set in Ivan's group buy because the set is currently for the same colour as Dolch modifiers. I also don't understand why his buy has stalled with less than 100 to go when lots of people have jumped on this one which is much more expensive.

Yep, sadly it is still strugling with moq :( If it happen, a CC base and black mods GB later would be perfect, we'd have both normal and dark Dolch

I think I paid ~$95 for the 'base preorder' then an additional ~$37 for the 'extension kit' set plus shipping, so that is ~$132 before shipping and yes currently on the website if you could buy it all it would come to $197.5 before shipping, of course I wouldn't buy from sherry right now seems like he is having some problems, a lot of people aren't getting their stuff etc.

I am totally unaware of korean forums. What I do not get is if the OP is such a well known member there, why he/she is not that responsive here? After all the GB is running at GH, isn't it? And I have not mentioned anything about scams, I was just asking that this GB seems unresponsive.

I would love to, but a dolch is a dolch imo, getting a keyset similar to it doesn't feel the same especially for the alpha color
dolch is the dream for me, and with CMYW it completes my personal combo for dolch
I'm trying my luck in the classified for GMK

I think he orderd more sets from GMK after Dolch sold out on Originative. The production always last 2 - 3 months

He wouldn't buy from the korean GB. Pretty sure he'll make more money directly ordering more sets from GMK since he doesn't have a problem moving them.. they sell like hotcakes...

If anything, he probably has close contact with GMK and when they're doing runs like these, he'll get informed and a chance to purchase from them.

$20 extra profit from 100 sets is $2000. He probably makes more (profit margin and # of sets)

I would love to support ivan as well but the light grey alpha's makes a huge difference in aesthetics. If he has the "dolch" option then i would totally jump

I know it's popular but I would be very surprised if he sold a whole new batch (MOQ>200) of Dolch in a few hours. Not that many people can just drop $100+ on the spot for keycaps without thinking.

More than likely he had <10. Oh well, just gotta keep waiting for opportunities.
