hi guys, now has a very bad news.
Gateron (or Enjoypbt ) unilaterally terminated our cooperation. So now the GB round4 was forced to change into the 117 layout.

Here, I would like to say that I am very sorry to get the situlation.

If you still want the keys then you will get the keycaps and 7$ refund.
or I may make the full refund.
So,  do not worry about your money,  if you need a full refund, please send a mail to imsto@msn.com.
Title please use like this: GB Round4***** *****Refund

This happens out of my plan, so I am ready to make the molds and the cap myself, hope to be able to provide nice stuff for the enthusiast.

Yeah, 1800 very important now, Red Desko is interesting.

You know 23 in Hammer Club - he has 3000SAT, maybe you can borrow to see.

Gateron is okay, good compatibility.

Edit: Also imsto one more question, have you considered doing Blue Russian/Cyrillic?

Noob question. From what I've read so far... Gateron and BSP are both PBT keycap manufacturers. What's the main difference between them?

Oh, okay. Rats. I was hoping BSP. Will wait for that to order a Desko set, but I may still pick up the Aurebesh set from here.

Also, Karura, since this is Gateron why not go with Shadovved's GB? He already has blue/cyan Cyrillic.

BSP is a European country that owns the original Cherry tooling for PBT. Gateron is a fairly new company based in China. Gateron is very good for the price.

Yes, BSP is king in the PBT world. Well, besides OG Cherry. ;)

I keep saying this.. They're either not the original or some moulds have been lost and the remaining moulds have been changed. All the moulds differ from the originals in some way and there are some big, bad differences too : no scooped f/j, the right shift is completely ****ed up, no spacebar, stems have been reported as wonky sometimes.

Significantly less enthused to find out it's Gateron PBT-based. It will definitely bring the price down, but the sharpness of IMSTO dyesubs are part of the draw.

Who stated, then, that BSP owns the original molds? What did they do regarding the missing molds?

I have no idea who first said it. I just know they did not have any proven facts behind them. At this moment in time we have no idea what truly happened to the original Cherry dyesub PBT moulds. All we know is :

1. While BSP utilizes the same profile and a very similar underside, there are small differences on the underside of BSP keycaps that distinguish them from original Cherry ones.
2. There are some keycaps that are either missing entirely or are very obviously different : BSP F/J have nipples instead of scoops, BSP offers no spacebars, BSPs right shift is too short, more thin and has a really prominent curve compared to the original - it looks really terrible.

I'm not too familiar with molds and tooling, but could it be possible that they did inheret the original parts, and that the mold for the right Shift somehow got damaged, the space bar parts were lost, and they made new molds or altered the originals for the F/J?
Just speculating (and playing devil's advocate).

How do the tops appear next to original Cherry caps? I also would like to add that, if BSP owns original parts, defects also could be a result of wear and age.

Yeah, as I said, that is possible too :

They're either not the original or some moulds have been lost and the remaining moulds have been changed.

We just can't say for certain that BSP keycaps are made from the original Cherry moulds, and if they are they have certainly been modified and some of the keycaps are not the same at all.

I haven't tried a full set before so I can't properly comment. I did have an RGB set though and iirc the texture was not anywhere near as nice as original Cherry. Texture is my favourite thing about Cherry dyesubs.. it's perfect.

BSP feels terrible compared to Cherry OG, I think Gateron feels better to that regard. At least its not topre.

Very good but the font was thin for the english letters, but I think that's fine and adds to the modern style haha. Maybe the mod legends can be changed (like cherry original font size)?

I think you should run Japanese set as it was probably the one of the most popular after pictures were released from IVAN's gb.

But if Cherry original font is possible on all keys, then I think it would be even better :). But I think Modern font on Japanese set was interesting.

Came across this and did some searches. Would anyone be interested in something that looks like this? I know ducky has made them before as well
I used to made the Taiwanese layout, I will try find it out...
Is cute.

I just realized the first photo didn't have any symbols on the number row but if you see the ducky set it's on there lol
