...according to me, that is.

Based simply on the fact that the following add-ons are now available for v.3:

Better Gmail 2
CookieSwap
Fast Dial
FireGPG
No Squint

I believe Gmail notification is now available for v.3.  Didn't look at foxmarks though.

those add-ons will available soon, overall FF3 is working well for me. As much as I miss my  certain extensions, I am patient enough to wait for them to become available.

I've been using FF3 for a couple of months now, and I have to say it's been incredibly stable. As far as extensions, I only use adblock and downloadhelper, both of which a are available.

Wow.. Thanks for the heads up. I never knew that they updated the Google Toolbar for Firefox 3. I kept checking the page and it said that the last time they updated the plugin was February 2006! Now I feel stupid for not just trying to install it.

It's definitely was updated for Firefox 3, because the filename of the addon is "google-toolbar-ff3-mac.xpi". They just didn't update the page... Hm. :|

By the way for the keyboard enthusiasts, there's Vimperator 1.1 for Firefox 3, which makes it look and feel like vim, our beloved text editor. It also provides hit-a-hint navigation, so the entire web is at the reach of your fingers.

Along with a keyboard-based window manager (I use Stumpwm), you do not even need to reach for your mouse^Wrat anymore.

How is Stumpwm differentiated from Rat Poison?

Stumpwm intends to be ratpoison's successor. It is fully implemented using Common Lisp (instead of C) for instant customization, with no recompilation needed. It also has a mode-line (like emacs and gnu screen).

If you know some Lisp, you will certainly enjoy customizing it. For example, it only took me a few minutes to insert my laptop's battery status and temperature (from ACPI) into my mode line.
