Bump!

Still looking for some 55g SPRIT springs (gold or standard it doesn't matter). I have 5 packs of SPRIT 65g springs (2 gold & 3 standard) that I could use for trading.

Otherwise, I will also be willing to buy them.

Haha. I have been wondering whether I should sell or not. I've already sold one before which then I re-bought 5 months later.

I actually prefer my other non Type-S HHKB with the Hypersphere silencing rings more though. Just don't use the Type-S much anymore.

Suppose you'd trade keycaps for printed?

I'm sorry, but that would be additional effort and waiting and then I would be in the exact same position I am in now, but trying to sell with printed keycaps. On the other hand,
a blank keyset is going for only $50 with $10 shipping on eBizzle right now.

I don't get it; why CONUS only? What's the point? If I'm willing to pay for the postage, why not sell to Europe? It costs you literally nothing.

Nice price, wish I could swing one right now. Type-S keeps calling my name...

A couple of issues I can see: no tracking unless you want to pay over $40 for priority INTL shipping if shipped through USPS, then there's filling out the form which if done correctly will cost you VAT at delivery/acceptance (i.e. not marking as gift). But that's just my two cents, maybe he just doesn't want to.

I will sell it internationally but I already promised it to someone else if I can't find something in the continental United States. And of course it's primarily because of the reasons that were just mentioned.

Dropped the price on the Type-S once again. This is the final price drop. If it doesn't sell today, I will sell it to the 1st person outside of CONUS that contacted me interested in purchasing it.

It's made of all acrylic plastic. The only other pictures I have are these:

I bought the case & PCB from Profet's website, so it isn't hand wired. He actually sells these keyboards for ~$230 assembled, so the pricing I have is quite competitive.

I just couldn't do that layout. It looks so cool, yet after I typed on it for a while I felt I would quickly forget how to type on my other keyboards with staggered alphas.

Thanks for linking the pics. This is the part I'm concerned about. Doesnt really look like anodization defects and more like liquid damage of some sort

TBH, I never even saw those discolorations on the bottom. I don't even know if they have been there all along or if they just appeared during the time that I've owned the keyboard.

I removed the keyboard from the box (Ugh) that it was nicely packed inside and took several more photos.
This morning Imgur was telling me it was over capacity so I didn't upload the photos, but I'll post them later tonight.
The discoloration doesn't appear to be anywhere else that I can see aside from what was pointed out.

If you wait like 2-3 more weeks elitekeyboards should have some in stock brand new for a good price(call them to make sure). Just FYI if by then you do not get one here. Those massdrop spacebars drop decently frequent atleast thus far.

Thanks for the input. I may end up doing that. I'm curious whether the MD buy is responsible for putting them on backorder. I know they tend to sell out on EliteKeyboards almost every time and then their is a delay between restocking.

Elitekeyboards has been out of stock for months as far as I can tell, and their ETA has passed some time ago. I see posts dating back to January saying the  87u 55g has been OOS. They also do not reply to emails anymore.

Can confirm. I sent them an email inquiring and never received a response. No idea why. I did speak with a Japanese import seller based in Japan roughly a week or so ago and he said he expected to get these back in stock around June 10th. I figured maybe EliteKeyboards would be following close behind on that.

It's been a while but I'm actually in Japan right now and I'm not sure if I saw any 55g 87 at bic camera. I believe there's 45g black/beige for around 19000 yen or so since I was looking for one ;) and variable for a bit more. Will confirm when I go again.
