Welp it is looking very unlikely we will be getting any update before Feb, but I'm hoping Serendipity will at least help us get an update (even if it's going to be another long delay). It's obvious that there is a major problem since you'd expect maybe one or two ppl to have gotten shipment.

its was on july last year i think i got invoiced, i was late on the gb and i thought i tried my luck. it turns out ive ran out of money and have to cancel. now im glad that i did.

It's frustrating cause he's still working on other projects as well, the SaiB is supposed to use his PCB's, and it's been delayed by a month and a half. Kin's tx boards are supposed to use his PCB's iirc, so he's alive and still around the community

To be clear: I didn‘t want to say in anyway that Leeku might have run with the money! I also couldn‘t imagine that he would update the op and so on, if this was his intend (tbh, you could easily scam people without that extra effort). I meant more that maybe something happened to the boards or whatever and thus he would not be able to deliver them. Also, I take it somewhat with humor, to be honest, since I find it a funny and slightly weird situation..

I really didn‘t want to accuse him and stir up the situation!
Even tho I hardly know anything about leeku, after a few short interaction via PM, I really think he is a cool dude who is super nice and friendly.
In hindsight, the comment was not super smart and had the potential to just stir up people.

i'm not too familiar with the GB process on Geekhack since this is my first time, but i didn't expect for it to take this long.

Leeku responds to emails well but its kind of the same answer every time, "busy with work, will send it out soon"

GB for yas62 which leeku made pcb and plate is done in 1 yr and 2 months if i’m correct, there’s also pcb for tx keyboard that he also design idk if he made it or only design, that’s already shipping. too bad that his own GB is neglected.

Personally I check/reply to emails more than geekhack because I don't have a mobile app for geekhack (I hate tapatalk), I'm not excusing his actions or sayings its ok it just seems like a fairly common thing for people to ghost their threads when stuff goes off schedule  . It's unfortunate too because of as you said just an update saying "sorry this is happening" goes a long way.

tx has his own stock of leeku pcbs for all his boards he sells IIRC

Yeah, that‘s what I also find curious. Just a little transparency would increase acceptance of the delay so much more! But that‘s weird to me in other GB as well.

In light of recent events, I feel like I should put in to this as well.

The delays from this GB are mainly that he has been very busy in the past few months due to work, and he is moving to the USA at the end of May, no time for packing the keyboards until June most likely, but since I am in the area we should be able to get these out faster, or at least I will try helping out.

But this GB I believe has 50 members, and the main worry would be how many assembly orders are to be filled.

But if anything please wait a little longer until the end of May for a more thorough update.
