Title: Tp4's Deep Grooves

Extra deep gro0ves.. using DCGT 55* carbide blade.

V2 upgrade on left, V1 on right.

V2 is a 2 piece design.. 1 Drill Core + 1 Sleeve Ring..

--The reason for going 2 piece, is so I can Over-Cut the groove to go Even Deeper.

Comes in Lazer-Cut display case.. old V1 picture.. Acrylic _ Wood HYBRID

JKJK,, I might make a Shattered - Edition, where the tip is blown off with explosives.. and it could come like in a bundle or something. But, Even with the "current design.. this is an extremely time consuming cap to machine..

So many little details.

I've recently found a small machine shop that's running on fumes.. they might be able to do a small run at a reasonable price..

But even a small run means at least 30-50 units..

Are there even that many Toppa fans on GH ?.. hahaha

You guys gotta like buy one, and convince all ur friends to buy 1.. hahhahaha..

The second issue is.. the V2 deep groove is extremely time consuming to cut, it roughly triples the machining time.. so... if we had the shop produce V2-s, it'd be somewhere near almost $60 [USD] each..

The V1 would be cheaper around $45..

I'm very proud of them new grooves.. hahaha...

It's tapered just right, to produce a striking- look of Depth..

Notice they're deeper at the base, and very subtle near the tip..

The drill core is an emotional- piece for me..

The concept of Spiral Power.

To challenge those who merely wish to remain in place.

To constantly improve and grow.

To evolve beyond mere pleasure seeking.

To Incorporate the universe itself into ones perspective..

These are the ideologies I feel was highlighted in Gurren Lagann. And the drill core, the central power, something simple in concept, then Magnified and refined an infinite fold..

Those were the things on my mind when making all the improvements to the cap.

The whole upper portion is modeled 100% proportionally Faithful to the Drill core from the Anime.. [Bluray version, the SD version is warped]

The bottom of the curtain is completely flat. and the 4mm stem sticks out beneath it.

You can see the stem a little better in this older picture of the V1..

Well, i think people want to keep GL references on the DL, so that if these do go into production we don't run into copyrite po-po issues.

Damn the cost! The v2 is crazy cool and obviously not something one sees very often. If you do produce, you can count me in for a Topre and an MX too.
