There was a debate after the initial photo if the PCBs should be white or yellow. Guess we ended up with a white one afterall.

Does the pcb have esd protection?
Hoping someone can explain to me about esd on keyboards. Does it matter? Unless the PCB touches the surface of aluminum back cover.

I already soldered / desoldered more than 100 keyboards. Some are cheap, some are expensive.

I have had 2 PCBs break on me recently so esd protection is something i look for in PCBs now. I would also like to know if the foxlab PCB has esd protection.

As far as I'm aware, he's said the PCBs with the PC cases will have ESD protection. It's not necessary with the Alu cases.

Plastic = static magnet.  Alu not so much.

so many different combinations of materials in terms of this board that i find it a bit redundant as you wont get the same sound signature unless you have the exact same board

In most places, United States for sure, manufacturing and logistics (shipping) are considered essential businesses.

Polaris shipped out recently and it was pretty heavily impacted by the whole covid19 situation. Don't see why this can't ship out as well.

Because even KBDfans has stopped shipping to EU very recently until further notice. If KBDfans stopped shipping again, why would these ship? Again I could be wrong and that would be great, but I prepare myself for playing some more levels of the waiting game.

Update:

1. All the anodization has been finished.
2. The E-coating has been finished for most colors.
3. All the manufacturing will be finished in 2 days except for E-pink.
4. QC should take around 10 days or so by our estimation.
5. We're looking to start the shipping mid-April.
6. The shipping to the USA is still possible through DHL. I'll confirm the shipping to other countries in the following days.

It was extremely difficult to push everything moving forward as scheduled.
Due to the CNY and COVID-19, This GB has spent the highest turnaround time for us in the 4 years since we joined the community.
The wait is almost over. Thank you all for your patience.
