Quick photoshop of the top bezel being slightly thinner. It's still thicker than the sidewalls.

NEVER degrade a decent keyboard design with your own deranged choices.
Dang it's almost like if he didn't say it was awesome regardless.

Nothing better in the whole Universe than this Keyboard, topped off with some Mulan McNugget Dipping Sauce  8) .

You hear me, as I relax at Shoney's with some of that dipping sauce and watch this miraculous event occur yet again......

A few pictures can change the WORLD here, especially within the narrow confines of Keyboard City (Geekhack).

This is what a small keyboard should like like for MEN, when they need a decent smaller sized layout.  LZ, name the time and date when you expect my payment and it shall be done without haste.

As always, when LZ designs something it's always worth it's weight in GOLD  :thumb: .

Thanks for your praise.

You quite understand my design.

Any chance that split spacebar support (even if it's only the plate) might be added?
Even if the PCB won't support it it would be awesome if it was possible to use the Clueboard layouts with the stock plate.

NEVER degrade a decent keyboard design with your own deranged choices.  If you don't like it who cares, walk away.

Since you're so ready to offer your own editings here, why not change Leonardo's da Vinci's Mona Lisa or even Johannes Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring as well?

There will always be wannabes who think their interpretations of GREAT Art is always superior to the original artist's, in this instance you will always fail when trying to change any of their original work.

Leave it as is because it's perfect to those who appreciate any unique keyboards made by LZ, a true artist in every sense of the word.  I will never try to change his mind on how to design any keyboard, since my own personal tastes change every year but his designs remain eternal and loved by all.

YES!!!!

Nice keyboard, I am interested as well.  :)
I also would not mind slimmer uniform bezels, but I actually like the mix of big bottom/top bezels and slimmer side ones. I feel like these balance each other out.
This board will anyway be the jewel of my 660 collection.

Thinking after LZ CLS? Currently around 60% done being machined. Was projected to be delivered in June(ish) I think. Perfect timing for some wallet recovery and a new purchase (for me).

That would be good timing for me for sure.  What is the LZ CLS? Sorry, I'm new here... EDIT: Nevermind, I searched and remembered it, this one is more my cup o' tea.

okay but reinterpreting famous paintings is an actual thing. especially the mona lisa.

and i'm not sure why you're so up in arms about a guy who's sole sin was to suggest a smaller bezel and provide an example, i'd hardly call it a degradation of the original work or a deranged choice

The basics here would be nice, such as;

BLACK, PURPLE, RED, SILVER, CHAMPAGNE and the Industrial GREY.

Those colours would indeed encourage most Geekhackers, to buy this model without haste  :thumb: .

Even if this isn't specifically designed for topre switches, I'd imagine it would be possible to modify it to fit the standard FC660c components, right?

Not necessarily, no. It heavily depends on how the plate is mounted. If you look into the work that norbauer put into his Coolermaster-compatible case, it may become more apparent how difficult good compatibility is.

This is the FIRST model by LZ with 68 keys, so this Design will be unique amongst all of his keyboards.

If you have never bought one of his designs before, then this latest design is the ONE to own without question.  I'm personally waiting for his announcement within the Group  Buy and Pre-Order section and when it happens, I'll be all over this like a Dingo on a Baby  8) .

YES, only the Koreans can display such HUGE bezels to us with no shame whatsoever.

No wonder every keyboard enthusiast goes weak at the knees when confronted with such a well endowed keyboard, never before seen here on Geekhack Central  ;) .

I was on the fence for this one, but the industrial design was too good to pass up! Jumped in for a silver.
