I've been really itching to get something done regarding my caps.  Making protos/masters is about all I can do to keep sane in the evenings.

What have I become?

Never stopped working bro ;D, but the caps weren't coming out in the cold.  I fixed that problem with a flexible heating unit and aeroponic soil heater controller.  The work area is locally heated to ensure the caps come out without defect.  It saves me time... it keeps these caps coming out.

Very cool!  Very sapphire- so refined.

No plans for more Topre key molds.  They have been a bad experience for me over-all.

Thank you!  The sapphire color is a nice simple one that just looks nice :)

The lion has an opaque base and trans/sapphire head.  The Keythulhus are all trans sapphire.

Nice one, did you make it yourself? Are there plans for making one of these that does both?

So far, I've only found people making ones that either do vacuum or pressure, not both.

Be careful, Binge -- I've heard stories of those things exploding. We can't have a GH artisan exploding. That would suck.

Generally paint pots exploding are because someone put more pressure in it than it could take or they did some stupid mods to it.  One I read recently was someone who put what he called "lidsavers" on the clamps that he hot glued in place.  Well, of course one or more of the pads slipped off while in use, causing the lid to fail catastrophically.  Mkawa would disagree with this, but even the Harbor Freight paint pots have been used safely for extended use when some of the parts are upgraded to higher quality parts.

I'm still looking for an affordable usable one though.  Most in my area are a minimum of $400 and go up to $1500.

I believe I'm a bit over cautious sometimes.  That is not a paint pot.  It is a pot designed for high pressure chemical storage rated to some 120+ psi.  If it does explode I am luckily working at moderate pressures of 35-60 psi.

In the future I'm going to be building a "shield" to be behind while the units are pressurized.  All control will be behind the shield and I will also have release valve controls as well.

If the person who requested it is not interested I'd be more than happy to let you purchase it.
