7bit appearance

what KB is this? I love it!!!!

Thank you :) yes it's a phantom 7bit, lives in a layered acrylic case.

I do plan to mod it and out and ISO enter in there to tie the board together :)

Actually, the profiles are not all that mixed. I've since gotten a ? row Riddler key, and the keys below that have a red dot are the only ones that are not uniform profile around their local place, such as the navigation cluster.

That might be the most expensive topre board in existence.

You should put all of those on a realforce with an aluminum case.

How many colors do you think are allowed before something is officially unicorn vomit? I am thinking 3. Not counting legends, text or led colors. Maybe 4 of you manage to match them really well.

I don't think unicorn vomit is based solely on the number of colors. For instance, I had this set up once, but I wouldn't consider it to be unicorn vomit.

Hmm, I have to agree. I thin if you limit yourself to a row it will never truly be unicorn vomit. I quite like the look of the at keyboard.

Nice! Must be hell to type on with all those different profiles, but I guess the point of the unicorn vomit boards is they are all show and no go, amirite?

I only type on full size keyboards all the rest are just for novelty key display! ;)

Although I should probably plug it in to make sure all the switches register.

A prototype AF key?

Nice WASD too :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
