Definitely like the looks of both versions. If we are talking white versus black with printed legends, I would say black. However, if the poll were for white versus black with blank keycaps, I definitely would choose the white version. White HHKB with blanks just looks so clean IMO.

Black is only the better option for caps with legends because the legends are so ugly that if you're going to have them you need to try and conceal them.

But in reality white hhkb is the one keyboard to rule them all.

The white/grey LOOKS better, while the black SOUNDS better.

It's a similar story with the Realforce keyboards but not quite as noticeable.

There is no black HHKB, only dark grey. As such, there is only one valid poll option.

i'll go with black just because it's just as sexy as white HHKB but blends in nicely with most computer hardware. Adidtionally, I guess it looks more professional.

I have never owned a white on white but I think I would prefer it.
Received my first HHKB with white keys on black case and never looked back.

I like the looks of the black more (Darth Vader Look^TM). But I like the feel of the caps on the white more. It feels a bit less grainy and more soft.

Well... my desk and my speakers (yamaha hs5) are white so my white kbs fit nicely. Though I'm also guilty of owning and using a black hhbk (or gray) and "black" 87u 55g

I made the mistake of getting white HHKP 2. This is the main reason why it's in the drawer and not in use now. If I had a choice, I'd get black. Reason is white doesn't match with anything in my room. It doesn't match with my computer case, monitors, mouse.. my table.. it just looks totally awkward and it's quite distracting to have such inconsistency in your creative environment.

Stock white HHKB with printed Keycaps, or even blank, is doesn't make much of a difference, I just prefer the printed ones. There is currently no better looking Keyboard out there. The only better looking keyboard ever made would be the one that came with the Apple macintosh, the first one:

I'm actually pretty on the fence for this one, I own both the white and the black and for me PERSONALLY both has pros and cons example being the white would yellow over time which I personally don't like but some people like it as it makes it more unique to them. I have the white blanks on my white HHKB now and the white printed on the black HHKB and I think this looks the best and I even have the red/blue control/esc pack on them, as you might have seen from the HHKB Pro 2 thread. I think the white looks ok with stock white printed keycaps and white blanks. As for the black I think most of the combinations look ugly except for the white printed caps on it, there's just something about the two-toned color paired with the fine black printing that goes so well with the black hhkb, I'd say the black blank + black does come in as a runner up in terms of looks.

Right now I am digging Topre 9009 (JP-1 subs) on my Dark Grey BT. I can not take this combo off. It is so so good.
