(1)   Introduction
About DiMi Studio
DiMi Studio is a relatively new designing team based in China, their previous works include Zhou65/Korno65 and Lumos Alice style keyboard. They are striving to bring a sweet point between decent design and more accessible pricing.

About ELBoard
We are a US based vendor specializing bringing brilliant design and products that were previously certain region only to the international market. We provide all-round service including IC/GB posting and the actual GB running. Please feel free to join our Discord to stay tuned for more products.

About Colossus75
The naming is suggested by ELBoard’s Discord members, and the inspiration is from the bulky appearance that reminds us of many titan figures in video games. What is interesting about this board is it allows for two distinct mounting style with a reasonable pricing.

The Mounting Style
Option 1: Traditional Top Mount
To be honest, the inclusion of same old boring Top Mount is more of a safe move to hedge for the risk in option 2, which is rather experimental.

Option 2: (A cousin of??) Plateless Gasket Mount
Not sure what to call this mount yet, please feel free to suggest a better name for this mounting style. As shown in the graph below, the PCB is fixed in position by a 3.6mm poron plate foam on top and a 2mm gasket below the edges. With this mounting style, you can feel free to remove the plate to achieve a plateless build. And of course, if you prefer to have a plate in place, there is always room for it between the top case and plate foam.

Aesthetics
This kit features a sleek seamless design, which means no screw holes on the outside!! The internal screws will be M3, and the positions are shown here. 7 degrees typing angle.

PCB
Yes, hotswap version will be offered, and yes, RGB a thing. Also yes, VIA/QMK compatible. A flex cut as shown in the picture for a softer typing feel.
More details to be finalized and updated.

Color Options
TBD at the moment. Let’s hear out what colors you guys want the most!!

(2)   Pricing and Vendors
Kit Prices
Pricing TBD at the moment, but we are working very hard to make sure it will be something like $2xx.

Vendors
Vendors: ELBoard for North America, pls feel free to contact JackELB#7773 if you are a vendor from other regions.

(3) Special Edition in Collaboration with Glove Studio
Please refer to the details here: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=113608.0

Here are some renders for the special edition, please kindly note that APES75 is the name for this special ed and Zhou75 and Colossus75 are two names for the same thing and they are used interchangeably.

(4)   Render Pictures

(5)   Prototype
Protos are being manufactured and will be finished sometime in July. We will send them to content creators for review.

(6)   Timeline and Updates
GB will open once all the content creators receive their sets, so a guess would early Aug.
The production will last for 3 months after the GB closes, and another 1-2 months for international shipping. So lead time approximately 5 months.

The board looks cool! I’ll leave it to more qualified people to comment on the mounting but I love whenever people try new things with it, I can’t wait to see the prototype! I’m surprised that you’re sending the prototype out to streamers straight away before making adjustments yourself - unless I’m misunderstanding things.

But I have an issue - at first I thought it was a Zambumon board because of the logo. I think you need to change your logo since it causes this confusion, this is generally the standard for IP law, whether or not the customer could think the brand / product is someone else’s.

Very clean. If y’all can hit that 2xx price point, it will be very tempting for sure. The mounting looks pretty decent, and I’m excited to see what streamers think about it. Good luck!

Thank you so much for for the heads up abt the logo! It didn’t occur to us it was so similar to Zabumon’s. Zhou did the design without referencing on Zambumon’s logo, but he has agreed to change the logo due to this issue.

The price is surely attractive but using the Jelly has made me realize that 75s with exploded side row like 7v are better than Jelly and this board where mistypes are quite common. Glwic.

Kind of small, thin, and weakly to be a "collossus" I've seen bigger 60%s
It is nice though.

The GB in China will be handled by DiMi Studio themselves. Free feel to recommend your local vendor to contact me lol

With the PCB gasket mount option, if you use the plate, do you have to screw it into the top case? It seems like it would clap against the top case when you type if you don't.

If the bezels were slightly thicker, I think it would look crazy premium and clean.

Thanks for letting me know my guy. Such a shame it didn't push through with the International GB. Would have wanted to snag one for myself.
