I'm still waiting for the next prototypes. The reversed dyesubbed keys are giving them issues still.
Worst case is that these becomes black legends on blue so that they no longer need to reverse dyesub them.

Honestly the black legends wouldn't be too bad. No color or shrinking issues and possibly slightly lowering pricing?

I've been told that EPBT are remaking all their moulds which will supposedly help with the quality of reverse dyesubbed keys. I'm waiting for them to finish this so I can try another round of samples for the accents.
New moulds might help with the spacebar and warping issues as well as provide proper convex spacebar support for smaller spacebars like those used on Alice layouts.

Possibly. They've always had 3u convex but I'm not sure about 2.25 and 2.75.

I've been told that the new moulds for the spacebars are ready and the rest will be done at the end of this month or early next month.
KBDfans have ordered some spacebar samples so hopefully, we can nail the blue.

I've changed the kit a bit. The biggest change is that the accent keys will be black on blue rather than reversed dyesub because the blue was proving hard to produce to a reasonable standard.

Would you consider adding just 2 R4 1.5u and 2 R2 1.5u keys to the ergo set? that would actually give the kit some lightweight boardwalk/ergodox support as well as non-ortho 40s support for some of the more adventorous layouts.
legends could be R2 shift, enter and r4 esc, delete or blank.

Edit: i think those keycaps in standard cherry colors could be a buying incentive for people who already own a base kit in similar colors

In that case, I could run a proper 40s kit since moqs for epbt don't work the same as GMK.

It will run whenever I'm satisfied with the samples. Currently waiting for new moulds.

The original set is qwertz so I was wanting to keep it that way. The other issue is that international kit requires too many sideprinted legends if it were to match the set.

I haven't heard anything yet. They have been working on the dark blue accent key though but they haven't got that right yet.

Two years in the making... Maybe this set might finally head to GB this summer. I understand ePBT had some massive troubles trying to get reversed dye-sub to work on their molds...

I also know the Cherry G81-3000 had those ugly dark beige modifier keys, so... can't really do much about that... It's part of the nostalgic value, I suppose lol. I just love all the printed legends! Hopefully they can get this figured out soon enough!

I'd love to own a set if I have enough spare cash when it happens!

The spacebar moulds are complete but from what KBDfans have been telling me, the rest of the keys aren't ready yet so I'm hesitant to push ahead until they are done.
The blue spacebar sample they sent is really straight and flat and the colour is good. I would need to see the reverse dyesubbing on the mods to confirm whether we will go with the accent keys or not.
