Yes, I added the kit in one of my updates but samples won't be produced.

Unfortunately, no. I posted the swatches and sent KBDfans the updated file this week and the factories will be shutdown until the middle of February so it will be a while before there are new samples.

I plan to downsize my collection this year to only one MX keyboard (plus one HHKB and one Alps). Currently I want to join the GMK Jamon GB which will ship around mid June. But if Kuro ships before then, I probably will skip Jamon and just wait for Kuro.

Yeah, it's a hard one because I don't want to promise anything when I don't even have a guaranteed production time line from the manufacturer at the moment but I'm hoping for a GB in late March and have these ready by end of May.

Love the alphas. Are the modifiers the same color as the alphas? In one picture it looks different. They look incredible on the white case, I hope it looks as good on silver and black cases as well.

Standard and japanese modifiers both look great. I'm leaning more towards standard because it balances out the more messy/ complex japanese alphas, but it does seem more boring because we've seen epbt modifiers before.

I'm not sure but it would be quite similar imo. Asides from the irregular spacebar (mostly 4.5u, which I think will never happen) , I think the subs should be same as HHKB JIS.

I know that the demand isn't really that great, but just asking since every mx sliders Japanese caps I know sadly never support the JIS layout, even though they have Japanese sublegends on it.

Edit: Have just checked it out. Both my Minila and Mj2 are having same subs as HHKB.

It will probably be another week or 2 before they even start making the next round of prototypes.

Oh, there was a guy who asked to see a pic of it on a Moon M60-A which I totally forgot about.
I've got a black chiwi that I can chuck it on but my personal opinion is that there is that the contrast is too stark and that the normal Epbt Japanese black hiragana set would fit better.
One issue with that is that it has subjectively worse legends, especially the split backspace (think of R1 epbt 9009).

I might do a revision of the black hiragana set if there is ever another round since it would be easy to transfer the legends to that.

Holy crap this is awesome. I'm so glad I skipped GMK Jamón (and others) for this Don't want to buy new keyboards just because I have spare expensive keycaps.

What sort of tweaks were you thinking? It's very late to be requesting changes since the interest check has been open for a while but if it isn't drastic, I might be able to accommodate it if I think it would be a good idea.
