It is possible but would take some work to adapt to the pin positions of the alps switch.

my is a slider+spring over membrane, not technically a switch, just a mechanical apparatus for activating a membrane switch

I had a brother and it was a good value and held up through a few years of abuse. Lasers are better for shipping labels cause they don't bleed when wet. You should get your toners from 3rd parties online; they cost approx $20 compared to $70ish retail and while the print quality usually isn't as good, its plenty good for shipping labels.

I bought a used laser printer for $5. The page count was 2500 or so. I have been using it ever since, and it's awesome. I wouldn't recommend inkjet to anyone. If I need colour prints, I just go downtown with a PDF and a quarter on my way in to work.

I'm glad Demik is coming from the dark side of godawful inkjet printers. I once helped to destroy one.

This is why I label things with my typewriter. Can't beat reliability.

Got the trakcing via PM. If I were you I would go into paypal and mark each as shipped and enter tracking there also. Seems to help prevent any paypal account issues on your end in the future if you do that.
