looking at car parts and holy **** I need a job. only problem I have with the impreza is that the stock rims are hideous. need some of those classic bronze ones. or these

The rims you linked are probable really flexible or brittle. I'd avoid buying cheap rims if you ever plan to do any track or autocross type events.

Get a Legacy......i may be biased.....

Edit: Be warned though, this thing's long as **** and has a horrible turning radius because of it. This shouldn't be a problem on American roads though, Japanese roads aren't the widest.
Long and wide

But sexy af.

Though I have no experience with these rims specifically, Enkei's a pretty reputable company, they make/made a lot of oem wheels.

They're some of the most useless vehicles. Up at school I see so many bro trucks stuck in ditches after trying to muddin'. Most of the dumbasses choose the 2wd trucks to save money.  :))

Got me some new tires! Zeta ZTR10's

Not really because i wanted to but because there was a gigantic gash in one of the tires so i swapped both front ones since the rears were new/replaced when i bought the car, luckily it still held air for the week till my new tires came in.
Believe it or not, in the 9 years i've been driving i've never bought new tires so it's kind of nice for a change. Tires a lot cheaper in Japan =)

Favorite car is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. I drive a Ford Focus though because we get family Ford discounts and I don't have much money.

This guy has it right  :thumb:

Evolutions are kind of expensive to operate. Average about 21 mpg, insurance is $100 a month (up $50 a month over my 06 STI, or my 08 TL-S). You have to change the oil every 3,000 miles. Tires, brakes, fluids, and routine maintenance items are a bit more expensive.  If you mod the car the parts are reasonably priced though, on par with any vehicle that goes for 30-35k (look into modding a newer M3 and you'll see why I mention this).  Working on it is really easy, on par with any Subaru, if not easier.

Drawbacks aside, I have to say I fking love driving my car. I have never felt it wasn’t fast enough, I did find it was a bit sloppy in the corners, but after the Ohlins it takes corners like a weapon. I look forward to every time I get in it.  It takes some restraint to not charge around everywhere like an A-hole. And I wouldn’t recommend driving one without a radar detector, and if you are in an area that loves lasers, than some shielding.

After giving up on finding a reasonably priced lip for the Evo last year, the good folks at Bayson R on eBay released a $100 poly version of the $$$ JDP carbon lip. I know the aero effect is probably negligible, but I like the look of lips after having them on my Subys. It came today, install was a breeze, and since I don't post much on the Evo boards (lotta douchery) I might as well share on a good forum.

No lip (for reference)

all comes down to how much money I can come up with (i.e. if I ever get a job). Right now, just new rims. But in the future, maybe a kit and a new color, probably black. Lowering it would be nice, but I'm not risking it on these roads
