Bad news guys, I just got the samples package but they turned out to be the completely wrong caps. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding but I'm trying to sort that out now. Unfortunately means things are delayed indefinitely but I am working on it.

update, apparently it won't be the gateron factory (who as far as I'm aware did imsto's originals) and will be done by epbt (who i was told, got their caps from gateron).

I'm going to be sending one of my originals to get color matched so this process may take a bit but things are moving.

yea this is just gonna be too hard to replicate, epbt dyesubbing isn't exactly imsto level.

i'm here to do blanks, if someone else wants to order more of them once they're resurrected and make hangul sets, feel free!

Honestly, I think it would be pretty nice to see a few runs of just simple blank sets like this one in different colors. A light purple would be pretty amazing as well.

I've always wanted this, awesome looking. The imsto site was still up a while back, I remember emailing and begging for them to get this one back up and running.

How would one go about resurrecting this??

i didn't even know this was a thing, i'd prefer it to just be regular bars too (as the original set is)

No, they tried to match a color sample, but they failed. This is the second round of said matching process.

I'd be in for this in a heartbeat as well. I remember almost ordering this set when I first got into the hobby, but never did. Seeing IMSTO went the way of the Dodo I wish I would've now.... Oh well, hindsight's 20/20 right? I doubt Sifo would be interested in running this with any type of legends, but if ePBT gets the color right anyone could run an IC for the Hangul version.

it's not THAT shiny, mostly home row and spacebar. and this was after 6+ years of every day use. I'll take a pic later

success!!

comparison left to right: original imsto used daily for 7 years, original imsto stored in a box for 7 years, new epbt set

The 6.25u spacebar did come a little bit warped but that's to be expected.

The homing keys are scoop/bar hybrids, I have requested that they all be bar-only. I've also inquired about adding the ISO enter.

The texture is pretty much identical. Sound is a little bit different, a bit higher pitched where as the imsto ones are a bit more muted.
