The goal of the set was to bring a unique sublegend to keycaps which is rarely used, Gurmukhi. Gurmukhi is the written form of Punjabi. Additionally the layout is inspired by the Gurmukhi Inscript layout.

The inspiration for the set comes from the Sikh Temple of Hemkund Sahib, This temple was built in the late 1600s to early 1700s. The temple itself is found deep in India and within the Himalayan mountains, and is surrounded by mountain peaks on all sides. You can see one of the reference images below, along with an explanation of the colour choices made.

• Darkish green was chosen to represent the surrounding grass and flora
• Bluish White for the snow and the roof
• Blue for the pond/lake, aquamarine is pretty ugly so i wanted a more clear blueish color
• Beige for the stone

The sublegend placements were done by referencing the 2 layouts below, in combination with the input for Gurmukhi found on different OS if there are any issues or corrections please do let me know and I can make changes immediately. Some legends were omitted, due to busyness and some repeats.

Comments regarding the samples( the pictures werent taken with studio lights or anything the outdoor ones were taken in the afternoon on a sunny day,  the indoor were in my room with a warm over head light)
First of all im thankful to finally get these it has been so long since we requested them. Its a relief to have gotten them.

• The Green and Blue turned out well and I am satisfied with them as they are so these will be approved.
• The legends came out well they may look a bit thin but I was concerned about alignment and spacing so that is why they look the way they do, I am am happy with them currently and do not plan on changing anything regarding this unless there is a major issue with the full sample set we get in the future.
• The white for the alphas we originally intended to use was Bright but along the way I decided to ask for something along the lines of WS1, but currently it is a bit too warm and we will be looking to change this.
• The mods do not  have enough contrast to the alphas, we are looking into changing this to either something closer to sp gay or L9, some thing a shade warmer or cooler but that will be finalized shortly.
• Hopefully with the changes to the mods and alphas we will be good to go thank you to everyone who is still interested in the project.

Hey there, Really like what you've done with the set here!

I have some feedback for the 40s kitting specifically.

1) Looks like 1.25u shift is missing. Please add it

2) R2 Control/Code is an odd choice for 40s. There is already bottom row control, so Code/Send is preferable.

3) Alt Gr is also a strange choice and has no specific meaning for 40s. I recommend Meta instead.

4) BKSP should just be Backspace.

5) R3 1.5u backspace is missing. Please add it.

6) The big bar should just go into alt alphas. It does not need to be here in 40s.

This is pretty cool. I have an unreasonable obsession with sublegends of all kinds. I have some of the more common language sublegends - katakana and hiragana, Arabic, Cyrillic, hangul - but I've made it a mission recently to get more and more of the uncommon ones. This set will fit in, and if I may say so, looks to be of a lot higher quality than I had to settle for with some other language sets.

Is it just me though, or are the Gurmukhi numerals quite small? I had to zoom in on the renders to see them. Not really an issue on the alphas, but the numerals I had trouble distinguishing. Other than that, this is looking really good.

Loving the look of this, but not fully sure what ISO support is going on here? I can see the UK-ISO keys for the numrow, but it looks like it's using Terminal ISO keys for the rest? Also, if you're adding some ISO support, it's much appreciated if they also include the sublegends, otherwise it can look awkward if those keys are used.
