As the name states GMK Denim features Denim theme which explains the colorway. Also if i think about Denim - then Jeans is the first thing which comes into my mind. I personally have never seen Jeans without leather patches and manufacturers logotypes. Thus GMK Denim does feature leather patch accent keys with logotypes of very well known and iconic brands (GMK and Cherry) related to our hobby.
So far GMK Denim offers only one base kit which is capable to cover most basic layouts.

Unfortunately not. Usually Originativco handles all the orders worldwide. If you want to reduce shipping costs, then probably it would be wise to team up with some EU people. Tho i don't really know if shipping is going to be cheaper if you make a bulk order.

GMK production time is around 16 weeks currently. So I would say within 4-5 months from now. 3-4 if OCO already placed the order.

I don't know how much it costs for companies/shops with their bulk orders but few weeks ago i've send some modified switches to Belgium and DHL charged me 17 euros (including insurance + tracking number) for a fairly small parcel.

As Oblotzky mentioned the approximate and avarage wait time would be 4-5 months. Tho under specific conditions it might take less or more time but you should not worry about it. If this GB concludes successfully then you are guaranteed to get your items because Originativeco is a reliable vendor. ;)

There is a particular keyboard build I have in mind and I'm thinking I may end up mixing and matching some keys from this set with GMK Eclipse keys.
Does that make me a bad person? Time will tell how that build turns out.

Yes its a printed photo. Tho i wish it was real denim with leather patches which would be epic... but would be also expensive. :))

Oh Chinese customers only? Well i missed that detail probably.
I don't have current order numbers but two weeks ago Originative alone had around 90 orders. I guess there will be around 150 orders in total by the end of the GB. GMK Denim is going to happen anyway. I got already in touch with GMK and we are working on the details for production. I submitted RAL color codes already and i hope i will receive the samples in few weeks. I will share the samples pictures here.

There was no ETA given like Drop is doing for example in the Detail description. But it will be the same typical GMK lead time which varies between 4 and 6 months - since the order has been placed. I am still waiting for the color samples. Once i get those i will share them here ;)

Thank you for the updates. Those samples are looking very promising. I know how difficult it can be to accurately capture color as we see it in person, but I really like what I’m seeing here. :thumb:
I could see this being one of those sleeper hits that people regret not getting in on when they had the chance. ;)

That blue for alphas (i call it the dove blue) along with the red color are my favorites. The beige is also my top choice but it is from carbon.

Renders are approximate representation and should not be trusted in general - because renders are basically direct light (can even have glow effects which can't be done with real items) and real item are only light reflection. So people should keep that always in mind. But anyway yeah i wanted the mods to be smoky like in the renders ;D
I dont think it ships in December. But next Year definitely. I have still to aprove the last sample and then probably the manufacturing will begin.

I feel like it looks lighter due to the different lighting. Are you able to do a comparison under the same lighting?What do you mean with lighter? In my previous post I wrote about the first mod sample being too dark and that's why this one is lighter. Also I made two photos with different stops.
I already compared the two samples under day light and I am pretty happy with the second sample. 99% it's going like this into production.

Are there any updates on this? Somehow the set disappeared from originative.io site, although it was available there for quite some time after GB was already over.
Not sure why its not available at the store anymore. Tho GMK Denim will be shipped (if everything goes well) in January. It is right now in the production phase.

In my opinion GMK Denim looks in person better than on these photos. I only sharpened the photos and throttled the exposure by 0.21 down. Otherwise the colors are not touched and i used automatic white balance. Processed with Capture One.
