Current IC for pcb offers limited quantity of about 30-35 units. About half of the ic form responses were from alice owners. Also, the demand for alice plates existed from puddsys IC. I could offer to ship the pcbs together with the plates if that works better for you.

Yes, the polycarbonate will be clear.

Given that there are about 50 alices out in the wild, I wouldn't mind moving into production if we are already at MOQ and orders stop coming in.

Just a quick update: I appreciate the tremendous support from the community, and I will guarantee that PC MOQ will be met. Also, I updated the order numbers in the original post. I have a CF sample coming shortly because I wanted to make sure the plates didn't require "de-burring"

R1 PCB will have limited production so I cannot guarantee that everyone will get a PCB. However, after a successful R1 I want to start looking into shops that can get them produced in large quantities. Few updates:
- I added stepped & regular caps-lock support. If you are strongly against this idea, let me know. It shouldn't affect the aesthetics like split backspace support.
- We only got a few hours left, but I'm going to reach out to my shop to get these in queue for production before the weekend.
- Sample of the CF plate came in. Please, see second post.

Got my CF plate on Saturday. Looks great, was really pleased with how thorough the deburring was, as I was a little nervous about that. I can say my fears were unfounded. Also went ahead and ordered a pcb too. Super weird, but the plate/packaging smelled stupid good.

Hey Everyone,

The polycarbonate plates are done, but there are varying degrees of scratches on the clear finish. Here is an example of the range of scratches on the plate:

I feel that having the manu retreat to get them clear is going to be losing battle. Here are some options that I thought about:
- We get them all sandblasted.
- Offer partial refund.
- Cherry pick the plates and sandblast the rest.

Thank you guys for filling out the form and opted for the sandblasting. It is going to save me a lot of time.

Some plates have more noticeable scratches than others, which I will be polishing out.

Yes, there are some hairline scratches if you let it hit the light perfectly but over a pcb it is not visible.

Hadn't stumbled on this GB until just now. Even though it's past the deadline and shipping appears to have taken place, I was able to place an order on the Project web store. Is that accurate? If so, feeling super lucky! If not, I suppose I should be waiting on a refund...
