MechanicalKeyboards.com now has a geekhack vendor forum! (Thanks iMav)
The support from the geekhack community, even before MechanicalKeyboards.com launched on April 16th 2012, has been very encouraging. It makes achieving our very ambitious goals much less daunting ;)
A little about us...
Yes! We have a store AND a keyboard showroom. If you're ever in the Nashville, TN area, please stop by and check out the mechanical wonder firsthand :) 7107 Juniper Road, Fairview, TN 37062
Our Mission
1. To create the largest catalog composed strictly of mechanical keyboards and their accessories. (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/index.php)
2. Make this catalog incredibly easy to navigate via our 'Mechanical Keyboard Finder'. (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/search.php)
3. Help support and grow the mechanical keyboard community by providing a vast, organized Mechanical Keyboard knowledge base. (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/learn.php)*
This 3rd item is key and I want to emphasize that we are not just another place to buy keyboards. We are committed to the growth and support of the mechanical keyboard community.
We put customers first, we ship fast, we ship Internationally, and we always want to grow. So keep an eye on our site, our Facebook page (http://facebook.com/mechanicalkeyboards), and our vendor forum here on geekhack, because we are constantly adding products and interactive site features to MechanicalKeyboards.com.
We look forward to serving geekhack and the entire keyboard community.
Sincerely,
Joel Tubre (aka ShakeR)

Just got a keyboard from Mechanicalkeyboards.com: relatively good job packing (reminds me of Newegg, with brown crumpled paper). Fed-ex dropped the box on the corner, but the keyboard was safe.
You might want to add better support or something for foreign characters in your invoices: all accented characters came out completely wrong.

Thanks for the order! We find craft paper is the easiest, cleanest (no peanuts everywhere), and most reusable (green) packing material. The real key to good packing is the box size imo. Too much empty space is always bad.
Re: Invoices -- are you referring to emailed invoices - foreign characters as in punctuation? Please let me know and I'll try to fix it ASAP. Thanks for your feedback!

the most reusable (green) packing material
This is the most important. It is so easy for me to just put in my paper/cardboard recycle bin. Great on you!

I reused the paper instead of recycling it. This is the best option in my opinion. The rest contains sensitive information, so I will PM directly.
I also took the box, and made it a smaller (more suitable for my purpose) size with a pocketknife and some ingenuity. You're right: Box size is important.

Found something weird on your website...
This Adesso Keypad description calls it a "keyboard" rather than a "keypad". Is that a mistake?

I suppose semantically it is. For consistency we generate listings using a template through our database. I need to make a 'keyboard type' for keypad in order to correct this.
p.s. - LOL @ your new sig

Finally found someone selling the CM Storm with Cherry Red switches without having to pull my teeth out to get it. Thank you for this.

100% agree. I think I bought the last one the other day. Should have it Friday hopefully!

Got mine in on Friday of last week. Been loving every minute of it.
Still don't know if I prefer MX Reds or MX Browns. I'm starting to lean towards these reds, though.

Yeah, MX Reds are great. Also, I prefer the look of the Rapid w/ Reds over the other switch types.

The Rapid with the red plate is completely legit. Don't care for the font CM uses, but the black board with red undertones definitely catches your eye.

Which is exactly why I bought the Rapid w/ Reds and then promptly switched out the key caps with some PBT engraved black on blacks. Looks sweet.

Excellent choice sir.

Both from MechanicalKeyboards.com, the pictures don't do them justice, especially the bottom one. The PBT keys match the matte finish on the board perfectly so it looks completely uniform. Yes, I lost the LED lights, but 99% of the time I don't even need the lights anyway.
PBT Engraved on the bottom one (for work) and then awaiting my custom set from WASD for my gaming board on top. :)

Very nice! You had me confused with the LEDs at first, as I was thinking you never had them to begin with. Then I realized you meant on the special keys. I'd say more than worth it.
It's funny how hard it is to get good pictures of keyboards - especially backlit models.

ShakeR - just an idea...
Everyone I know HATES the branding on the CM Storm; that being said...
Would it be possible to ask the factory to send boards to you made exactly like the ones destined for m.Stone in Korea? m.Stone sells a copy of this out of the same factory called the "Groove 87." However it does not have any annoying juvenile branding and it has a much nicer looking font on keycaps.
Unfortunately m.Stone is not allowed to sell these boards outside Korea - but maybe you can get them to allow you to ship them.
Look how nice and CLEAN this looks:
Pretty slick. I can ask.
-
How much you want to bet that m.Stone can't sell them outside of Korea because they are duplicates of the CM Storm without the branding? Best of luck ShakeR, I'll take 2 w/ browns if you succeed :)

Yup, I took about 15 with different exposure levels and everything and since it was like 1:15am, I said screw it. You guys get the idea. :)

Hahaha! Painfully funny, because I've lived it too many times...
