I agree, timing and presentation; MD screwed up the nice renders with crap design that totally missed the vibe...people buy vibe.

Maybe I could've done better, in any case I wait for approval before final render. I agree the gradients were a poor choice for the backgrounds. I ask keyset designers what background they want, and it's usually a white background like what I did for this set's renders.

I thought you said MD did the backgrounds, perhaps you were saying they requested that. Your renders are flawless as always.

Maybe intelli will work with Massdrop to retry this buy at some point. The interest definitely seems to be there, but the timing was unfortunate with all the other buys happening.

I think another issue is the color ways and lack of cohesion between the different kits. Another pass would be necessary before trying again, IMHO.

It really just had bad timing, since it ran at the same time as a lot of other, more popular drops.
Hopefully they'll take a second crack at it when it isn't going up against crowd favorites.

DSA is for terminals, any decent keyboard deserves a good GMK made set, at least.

but, I think the problem is MOQ of this set.

as I recognized, they need to reach 500 set (not sure).

but as I know, most of GMK keysets group buy only need 150 set to place an order to GMK.

why did SNES need so much of MOQ like that? because of custom color or something?

hope to see this keyset relaunch again with better condition of MOQ.

The MOQ was so high because of custom colors. However GMK adjusted their conditions and right now they are more community friendly, even if you want to use 3 custom colors. In this regard, if GMK SNES is going to drop again it will get most probably a moq of 150 (like Carbon which has also 3 custom colors). Thus it will be succesful next time.

Dont think it was the timing. For example i was on the fence to get into it. However i wanted the accent mods badly but was not ready to pay 200+ bucks for it. Splitting stuff that really makes the set from the base set is not good in my opinion. And guess i am not the only one who did not get into because of that reason. In my opinion for the better success the base set has to include the accent mods. The gray mods can be done as a addon (for those who like them).

after first failure , we currently get more interest, i think you could make it this time.
The light purple is impressive at the first sight when you put forward this color-way , now remain unchanged.
The MOQ for customize color(such as light purple) in GMK have changed from 500 (TA) to 150(carbon) then to 250 in GMK plum. i think you would check it with GMK on this GMK sens.
