Very nice, and it seems orders actually jumped up after you posted the graphs last time :thumb:

EU proxy went live, so that's probably why. I think we'll see something similar for the Asian proxy.

Amazing! Thanks for always making these beautiful charts.

You're welcome, glad people like them.  For me, graphing is as much of a hobby as mechanical keyboards, so combining both is fantastic.

Thanks!  I'd bet the increase in orders is due to another vendor coming on line.  :)

Asking again, sorry if it’s obvious. What kit(s) are pictured with the prime_e? I know it’s not in existence yet but I wanted to check if I’d have it covered lol.

Hey!

For the Prime_E (as pictured) you need the following kits:
  • Alphas
  • Ortho + 40%
  • Novelties

Thanks so much for answering my question! Wasn’t sure just going off the picture lol.

I’m definitely in for alphas and ortho, I’m just deciding now if I should go in for novelties. Really excited for this!

No problem!

Keep in mind, if you want to cover the Prime_E then you actually need the novelties (or TKL...) for the extra 1.25u modifiers on the bottom row. Prime_E (with this particular layout) has more 1.25u's than usual for a 40.

Novelties are a must for all keyboards, imo. ;D

Yeah I’m just still deciding what I’m gonna put on that board. Thanks for pointing it out though because if I don’t have layouts in front of me I often forget what I’m missing lol.

I might go with the TKL to cover more ground. The thing is I’m also in for the wonderland group buy and waiting on my zlant to get back from a switch swap so I’m counting my key caps before they hatch, lol! I definitely want this set to be compatible with multiple boards tho so the TKL, alphas and 40s might be the way to go.

It's a very uncommon layout, you can't even find it on Google images, but it's supported. Not many kits cover it tbqh. Guess the cheapest way to do it would be Numpad, if not that then TKL backspace or another 40s kit.

I see! (same question from r/mechmarket?)

I would get some 2u blanks from pmkb while the GB (dark grey) colour is in stock. Although it's likely that GTD (light grey) will be in stock after this group buy is run.

How often will you post updated graphs of MOQ progress?

I keep a spreadsheet but it's difficult to synchronize all the proxies. They realistically cannot provide daily updates (imagine for all the group buys). I try to send reminders often, thru TKC.

Yeah, of course. Once a week would be more than enough I think, if that's not too much.

That's the curse of making those pretty graphs, now we're all junkies for progress and updates, we want to see those bars grow! :D

OT:

The new Massdrop site does a good job at hiding all independent project pages... real bummer. We were getting good visibility before launch, and now literally nothing.

It's not too late to help generate interest:

I wonder if you could somehow drum up some interest from a tech news site. It’s not often that keyboards are relatable outside of our niche little realm but I think a lot of people could relate to this set because so many people have had experience with the Ti calculators. I dunno how that happens but just a thought.

That's a really good idea. GMK DMG made it onto Kotaku (a video game news website).

How about Facebook Groups?  I took a screenshot of my quick search.

<EDIT> OK, not many members in my first "TI calculator" search.  Maybe do some better searching...

Nice! So close and some already reached MOQ. Perhaps a few more pushes on Reddit and we’ll be there. Still plenty of time left though.

Alright. Thanks again dvorcol!

Looks like TKL and Novelties still need a little push. Good news is ISO and NorDe are looking less grim since EU has opened. ;D

NB. These latest numbers do not include any zFrontier sales. I don't know when we'll get them. Also, if the data seems a bit chaotic, it's because we don't get daily updates from Mykeyboard.eu; they only show up in chunks every few days.

Kind of surprised the TKL kit numbers are so low, that means it won't work on any 60/65/75/TKL/1800 boards.

Thought Id chime in! Voodoo6k is doing a wonderful job administrating this GB! My hats off to him!

Several kits have hit MOQ as of now. We are very close on the others. Close enough that I will buy the extras. So rest assured, if you join, this IS going to happen.

Ok, back to letting Voodoo6k handle this. Everyone, give this guy a pat on the back if you catch him at a meetup!
