Count the keys. TKL has modifiers, six-pack, arrows, etc. ALPHA does not.

I always assumed ROUND3/TKL/ORANGE was all orange with no grey. That's why I didn't order it.

Does the shipping have some sort of formula? There's quite a jump depending on what you order.

yeah, It's a logarithm based on the total order price.

It's actually not only shipping. There are a lot of costs which need to be payed(creation of tools, shipping, etc). So they are divided upon all of us.

Thanks. Now that ROUND3/FUNCTION has no loQ fees, I am noodling on getting one. Adds almost $50 to my order with shipping increases, but I think I will be able to sell some of those keys I don't want.

It seems like we could also use a USA based sorting facility. My understanding is that all the keycaps are going from Washington to Germany, and then many/most of them are being shipped BACK to the USA. I assume that will mean TWO trips through Customs, and two opportunities for things to go awry.

It seems like we ought to figure out which USA locality has the most GB participants and ship all the USA-bound keys to them to sort (and give them a bonus for helping out, of course). Do we know the USA/RestOfWorld ratio for these keycaps? I'm curious how many need to be sorted in the USA.

Hmm, my first invoice had an e-mail address to send the 50 percent payment to, which I did.

On answering the second script e-mail for my shipping address and payment, the price jumped up a few bucks, making me short of the 50 percent payment I sent earlier. And like others, there was no e-mail address listed this time around.

Should I be concerned about it, and do I have to pay the extra amount before deadline since there was a price jump?

The only problem is:
ALL must be shipped to that US location and then sorted and the rest must be forwarded to Europe.

With the amount of different key caps I doubt this will work out well.

We don't have any problem sorting the key caps.

We surely would have a HUGE problem if ever SP would do it!

They can mess up simple things, how would they be able to mess up Round 4?

The orderlist includes keys from 417 different kits!

Shipping costs to Germany are not that much more expensive. Th only thing is VAT. On the other hand, I ship for around the same from Germany as within US, but I ship for the same cheap price worldwide!

OK, you where not even born when Round 3 happened. This excuses everything.

iMav did a great job at it the last time. He did it alone and I whished he didn't because it took quite a while. He made some mistaks and did not discover mistakes made by myself, which I would have cought imedately. These where "only" around 120 different kits, not more than 400 !

Now immagine some bored employees who have to do the sorting job. They don't have the least idea of what it is all about. They are no enthusiasts, it is just their work, but not their regular one!

Again, all my own errors will not be catched. Their own mess-ups (upside down, keymounts wrong, mirrored SVGs...) will only revealed when the key caps have shipped.

Forget it.

it's a violet spherical space bar.

It was added at the end of the GB I believe. Custom request who directly ordered a lot of spacebar for himself.

This space bar is for another group buy which flew under the radar of almost everyone (including me). Round 4 SPH kits are not the first complete sphericals in a group buy. The only thing missing were the space bars, which are only possible with the tools from Round 4. So, there is an order of 50 space bars for 50 standard layout sets sets of cream-white on violet key sets.

Nevertheless, we can not assume that 'leftovers' have no low qty fee. Look for items for an * at the end of line (grep \*$).
