Is there a specific reason why a lot of vinyl is coming out in May?

I have like 3-4 preorders all coming out in May. And a ton of stuff I've seen also has may RD. Is there something special about vinyl and the month of may?

Byker that looks dope af. I remember seeing it a couple months ago. I have no idea what type of music that is tho.

With RSD in April, quite a bit releases in that month.  Maybe there's a spillover to May as a good pre-summer release date?

I first saw the Samurai Champloo series when I was in high school and totally fell in love with it immediately. It's one of my favorite animes of all time and it also introduced me to the artist Nujabes. Welp almost 10 years later and I finally have the soundtrack album! And even in a sweet kahki colored vinyl

Electric Light Orchestra - Discovery.


-The Diary of Horace Wimp is my favourite ELO song of all time and for a flimsy 1979 pressing it sounds surprsingly good, great £7 pick up from Shrewsbury record shop when katushkin came to visit





Deftones - B-sides and Rarities


-Another pickup from last week with katushkin, I was so surprised to flick through the new releases rack to find this! The shop only had 2 or 3 copies according to the owner and I couldn't believe my luck when I found it. Simple Man and Passenger with Maynard James Keenan are awesome songs.


Side D also has a sweet etching of the Deftones logo too. The gold is nice and the record sounds remarkably good for gold wax that is only 140g







Mesarthim- Pillars


-After last years debut, I was dubious of this record coming out so quickly, but its a killer. Astral Black Metal at its finest. Keyboard work is killer. Even if you are not into BM, give it a listen. Magenta wax is cool but noisy.








Deftones- Gore


-Latest Deftones release, only listened to a few singles that were released and they sound great; not had chance to sit down and listen to it in full, but I've heard good things!

Can confirm, there was much snacking, drinking, and record'ing. Was also gifted this dope AF Explosions In The Sky record by livingspeedbump. A true bff.




It's a 2xLP record and the other one is white vinyl. But my camera died
