Take out existing plungers and just replace with these.

Interesting. Would be a lot cheaper, but I still don't know how I feel about having MX caps on a Topre board. Cheap enough to at least get them and try, though.

Silly question, but swapping the sliders won't affect weighting or height, correct? Was considering getting the Topre purple silent sliders, and just wanted to make sure before investing in a stock silent board, and I guess these Novatouch sliders as well.

These wont effect it no.

But those silent purple sliders without the silencing rings would have longer stems.

The silent purple ones are slightly longer to accommodate the ring size so that none of the tactility is taken away.

Is that a Hypersphere ring or a stock silenced slider? Unfamiliar with Topre slider mechanics.

Okay, thanks. That's what I heard, but wanted to confirm via eyesight.  ;D
Looks like I'll definitely get a Topre board with silent purple sliders in the future, and maybe even these. Can't hurt to try them both on my 55g Realforce.

Stock silencing ring. If you notice the purple slider has a slightly lower bottom to compensate for the ring. Hypersphere's rings just go on the standard black rings, so you lose just a smidge of distance when typing.

It's not going to happen unless they get approval from Topre.  Topre is bizarrely controlling of their products.

Yeah I think the Coolermaster Rep said as much, that it was an error and Topre won't let them sell.

Sometimes I think Topre regrets selling to westerners.  This sounds like ones of those xenophobic Japanese companies that wants to keep everything on their soil.

glad to see Cooler Master are working to make these MX compatible stems easily accessible for people here.  I see similar ones for sale on Taobao all the time.

Not really,

doesn't look good given they discontinued their only board that uses the stem.
