This group buy is for a service that is being put on Internationally on by me (Prof), MiMiC, SmallFry, and WhiteFireDragon. We are offering 3 different tiers of assembly Basic Assembly, Spring or Stem Swap, and Lubed Switches. Also available additionally will be leds and resistors, switches, stabilizers, cases, and plates to complete your phantom. These items are also available separately from the assembly service.

I will not be offering PCBs in this GB because you can already pick them up in the Phantom PCB Round 2 Group Buy when you order please specify to have it sent to me if you want one of us to build it. I will no longer be offering Plates in this GB because WFD would like to offer them in a separate GB available here. Please select to have your plate shipped to me if your have me do assembly or just ordering parts from me.
Our assembly services are guaranteed, which means that your keyboard will not leave or be shipped until it is fully tested and working.

This GB is closed. Please check you order using this.

Quote from: Payment & Shipping

Payment: Invoices will be sent out to your paypal email once the GB closes. You will have 1 week to pay the invoice

Shipping: Shipping will be quoted and invoiced once your order is completed, packaged, and ready to ship because of the infinitely different amount of items that can be ordered. You items WILL NOT SHIP until you pay the invoice for the shipping.

**note: the spring or stem swap and lubed switches both include basic assembly**
**note: in order to order switches we need to order at least 1000 switches total**
**note: please dont ask about other color switches as we would need an order of 800 or larger for that specific switch in order to get it**
**note: all extra/leftover parts that your ordered will be sent to you with your Phantom unless specified**
**note: you can harvest the case, switches, and stabilizers for your phantom from the PLU-87 (full keyboard not just replacement case)**
**note: if your looking for a cable contact MiMiC or order a cable directly through his thread.**
**note: please order a few extra switches not the exact amount needed for the board just in case a few of them end up being bad.**
**note: plates are designed by WFD**
**note: you can still order BACKORDERED switches but it will be ~2 months until I receive them**

Guys I really would appreciate it if you stopped some of these more personal posts.

Additionally since all of you seem to have major problems with your orders please pm or email me about this. I dont seem to get many of either of these despite all the issues every one is haveing. Please try to be realistic with your requests when contacting me about your order.

For those of you with no stake in the groupbuy, the participants of this groupbuy seem to be handeling this  themselves perfectly fine.

I know at this point many of you will just shrug this off but I fully intend on fixing this GB to the best of my current means and as reasonably quick as possible. Please be on the lookout for pm's and email's from me in the coming days as I try to resolve this and start shipping what I do have on hand.

Will there be an option for costar vs cherry stabilizers or are you only doing cherry? Maybe I just have bad luck, or I only hit the spacebar with one hand, but every time I have a board with cherry stabilizers the spacebar doesn't stay down.

More a problem with the keys staying attached to the stems. Like I said, I might of just had bad luck. Only used two boards with two different spacebars (both leopold) that had cherry stabilizers.

I have them i got them from bpiphany but the older original ones arnt opening up properly for me might be a scaling issue or possibly version incompatibility or something because the newer ones that I got done work fine.

Costar stabilizers are available from WASDkeyboards.com, so I don't see why that wouldn't be an option.

Are you going to be running the group buy for parts as kind of an "all or nothing" service, or can we pick and choose which parts we need to purchase through the buy?

I would really like to use your services for this but how does the communication go? Do I just tell Bavman to send the PCB to you instead of to myself?  He has your address and everything?

Flashing firmware should be simple, plug in USB and flash like ROMs if you've ever done that for a mobo or video card.

Flashing is simple, the issue is modifying the keymaps, then compiling the result and then flashing that to the keyboard.

Keypaps are just the layout array correct? I think most people should be able to figure that out quick enough. If not, I can number each key out to where it goes in said array but I think I saw a GUI for it somewhere on these forums.

SF is referring to the AHK GUI I wrote for bpiphany's Phantom firmware :)

Of course that won't help you with hasu's firmware.
