Quick question.

I'm currently looking for stabs for my incoming YAS :)
Going for a 6,25u space (so 1,5u / 1,5u, 6,25u / 1,25u, 1 / 1 / 1 bottom row), and most likely a split backspace, rest regular ansi.

Do I need pcb or plate mounted stabs?
And if I'm correct;
2u (left shift)
2u (enter)
6,25u (space)

That's it right? Assuming I'm going with a split backspace.

Yep that's correct.
For PCB or Plate mount depend on what you like.
I use PCB mount for shift and enter, and Plate mount for spacebar.

Are extras going to be shipped soon?

Not yet. Currently on remaking plate.
I am ready to ship it last week but when i'm check it again to make sure everythings good before i ship, plate size just too large about 1cm unfortunatelly.
Hope end of this week plate ready.

Good to hear extra's are close to getting shipped since my case is getting shipped this week as well :P

For the stabs, I can use both pcb AND plate mount, is that correct?
unless you got non universal plate like mine, plate and pcb mount are good to go :D

Configured my keyboard the first time, trying to go back and change led color a few weeks later I can't get it to connect.  Just repeated connection failed errors.  Any suggestions?

I have:
Disconnected Keyboard
Reinstalled Software
Restarted PC
Repeat above a few times

Please forgive me if this has been posted earlier in the thread, but what case are most people using?  Trying to decide between a standard and more "HHKB" type of layout, which obviously makes the case selection a little harder.  I have a cheap little translucent case that I will possibly use, but curious what others have done.  I have been out of the keyboard game long enough to know that there may be better options out there now.

Thanks for the input!

You may checkk the GB of SKB60 case by plastikschnittstelle above for current available yas options.

Kbdfans from china used to supply Tina case made specifically for yas62.

Or you may build your own sandwich style.
Someone build and posted his creation on this thread.

Most people here (probably) grabbed tina (which I did), but as stated earlier. They're no longer produce it.

Hope it helps.

Kbdfans sold about 30 Pcs for this PCB.
Someone made acrylic case for this.
And appreantly running right now is SKB60.
But you can use transculent universal case too.

I might need to by another PCB. Everything was working fine until a few days ago when the RGB backlighting is enabled it just flashes random colors or it seems like there is not enough juice since the RGB lights seems to blink on and off or have a ver faint color. I have tried different cables, different usb ports and different computers and the behavior is all the same.

This happen to anyone else?

Who can help me get the underglow working on my YAS? ;) I have everything up and running via Jigon, but can't get the RGB to work. No matter how hard I try When I first plugged in the pcb to see if it was working I had the blue fading underglow, however after building it never came back :( Btw, for those interested, build is as you understand complete and I have a typing video here:

(yes my nails are not the prettiest, excuse me for not having nail polish and biting my nails :P)

So I’ve checked multiple firmware’s, reset it, older versions of JigOn. Nothing :( how can I check if my pcb might be broken? (The leds at least.)

I want to join this GB but I don't have any experience with importation (I live in USA). Would that 40 euro shipping estimation include import fees? Does DHL handle that kind of stuff? I think I have the money to spend on keyboard stuff right now but I just don't want to get shocked with customs charges when it arrives haha.

edit: commented in the wrong thread I had open aaaaaa ignore this.

I have some questions about Leeku firmware/Jigon tool:
* is it possible to switch some layer on momentarily other than Fn layer? There are L0 to L2, but from what I see they can only be switched on "permanently", and I want to switch them on just as long as the layer-switch key is held down
* I'd like to have additional modifier key in addition to Ctrl/Shift/Alt, like Hyper (on Linux). Is it possible to set it up?
* is it possible to have a double-role tap/press key? I think SpaceFn is an example of such a key

Theorically yes, because some old board from leeku have qmk firmware available. But this controller use by leeku easy to brick hard to port to qmk.

These are not supported by JigOn. But you should be able to achieve this when you install TMK firmware. You can get it here: https://github.com/xauser/tmk_keyboard/tree/xauser/keyboard/l3.

I am busy setting it up on my YAS62. It was difficult to set up, but most things work now. The only problem left for me is that I cannot stop the annoying RGB lights. Has anyone else tried TMK on their YAS62?

I guess you have plate with 6.25u stabilizer option. You need plate mount stab for that plate

It has been a while since I have seen any posts about cases (never got around to building mine and considering it now.)  It looks like a standard 60% case will work, but what if you do not want to go with a standard layout?  I think that kbdfans had some a long time ago.....any ideas on current options?

Keep an eye out on Mechmarket for SKB cases, they have been shipped and there could be people selling theirs.
