« on: Wed, 09 July 2014, 13:58:10 »
i am going to be building up the _first_ ever smallfry kit prototype

i am going to be building a v2 SSK revival internal assembly (my initial test unit was more or less a success, so why not? :)).

to all the brilliant friends who have left us, and all the students who climb on their shoulders.

If he gets to it.  :P  I'm betting $5 that he gets too sidetracked explaining his setup / plans and doesn't even start.   :))

no bet!

We should charge him a nickel every time he gets sidetracked or says "so"

Is it a custom case/plate? Because now that there's a custom controller for the F and I am pretty sure someone made a custom capacitive pcb too, the main problem remaining is the case/plate and there's not that much difference (as far as I know) for the case/plate between M and F if we go the custom way.

Anyway, M or F it's awesome. I will be looking at it for sure!

If my controller comes, I'll be bringing the 6019284 to have that fixed. I'll also probably be getting help in learning how to take macro pictures and reprogramming my Korean customs. I'm having some form of driver issue at home when I try to flash the boards in flip.

no case yet. i've picked the fabber and materials, and we have an almost-complete drawing, but we're not quite there yet on the case.

on the upside, the first gen2 internals i've sent out is apparently smashingly good, even though the  lithuanian postal service did its best to annihilate the thing in shipping ;)

Dorkvader and I are going to be doing a Kendama competition. I've got some prizes. And we'll have some fountain pens for those of you who want to check 'em out.

For sure my Kingsaver with Complicated Blue Alps is going. Looks like my KMAC LE is coming unless the 6019284 controller shows up today or tomorrow.

I think CPTBadCam is a go so maybe we'll do videos of the Kendama or annoying mkawa while he works. I heard Haata has something cool in mind too but I don't wanna give awya too much.

We have a custom capacitive PCB for testing, but building a case / plate and barrels havent been done too much.

The real issue is finding new parts to build with instead of just using XT parts, as they won't last forever.
---
I set up the CptBadCam earlier today: streams video / audio fine to my laptop with MPC-HC, though VLC would work too. We'll need a box plugged into ethernet to upload to twitch or whatever you want to steram with though.

Sadly my kendama skills aren't where they were in february. I can't even spike it regularly anymore. I will lose valiantly to the good CPT for the good of all.

But I know something you don't know... I am not left-handed....

For additional reference: I'm bringing my laptop and webcam, so I can stream some stuff too.  Some sort of supplemental stream to whatever we'll have going from other setups.   :thumb:

(unless I need to keep it out for the sake of bringing more keyboards - which is possible)

I was going to recruit for the GH Twerk Team. But I don't think these kids are ready for my dance floor supremacy.

We can set you up on the NOC operator's console.  He only has nine monitors.

Got lots of DVI?

Maybe I will Teensy mod my HHKB...

Little bit of small soldering for the 13 pins, but other then that it's pretty easy and quick. Should be no problem for you.

I will be bringing my bluetooth HHKB. If anyone wants to see that it actually works they can :P You guys need to hound me to clean up the code and submit a pull request to Hasu. Then I can write up a short guide. Since it is all protocol code it should actually work for any keyboard that TMK supports as long as your controller has an RX/TX pair of pins. (You will have to figure out how you want to power it though).
