I've sold my Poker II (couldn't get used to not having arrow keys) and am awaiting the arrival of a CM Storm QFR with Browns that Amazon posted to match Newegg's sale price of $64.99. While Newegg had a $10 MIR on top of the sale price, I have Amazon Prime, so free 2-day shipping, which more than offsets the time and cost of waiting for a rebate that might, in fact, never show up.

I also ordered a second set of blue WASD o-rings, which I'll need for the second keyboard I have coming in. No word on shipment so I won't post about that one until I know it's officially in the mail.

Exactly. If you did know, there wouldn't have been a need to ask where he got one, because you would have known from where they were available, so stating that you didn't know is redundant.

I'm sorry I didn't know. Besides the person who actually posted they got a white FC660m with clears didn't actually respond so perhaps we still don't know where he got it.

And even if I knew someone was selling them he might have got it from somewhere else.

I'll just PM that guy.  :thumb:

All I seem to do is wait for the mailman these days, the receptionist at my work is sick of seeing me! Waiting on a Vortex Pure, Nexus 4 (should be arriving today!), Bunnycaps and some Gasmasks from last night!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Got my 104 pom blank white keyset today, but have a pretty horrible shipping experience.
When I got home yesterday, got the little pink sheet from usps pink slip again.  On that it said the package number is on the side, and I haven't seen that before, so I decided to go to post office today and get the package.  But in today morning I found that the package is in my back yard.
I was like, what the hell is that in my back yard   and I found it's my package.  The fence that around my backyard is about 3-4m high, so the post officer just throw the package into my backyard  :( luckily, it is just keycaps this time, but I have few aluminum case and keyboard that is shipping to me  :-X I am pretty scared about it.  Maybe I should stay home until all the board and case arrived safely  :(

I'm sorry you had to experience that. Scares the **** out of me too, and for me, it's just because they leave my packages on the front door step and I live in a townhouse/condo so anyone can see my package and just pick it up and walk away, if I'm not home. I even rescheduled work once so I can accept my package. I've received semi-damaged packages too, but man.. would be even more pissed if I realized they threw my package...

For security we keep the elevator locked, and the intercom does not work properly so the courier is as likely as not to give up and take it away again.

What arrived in the mail this week:

1) Red aluminum Cherry MX spacebar courtesy of Photoelectric
2) A pair of beautiful USB cables from Paranoid. Yes, I used the word beautiful to describe USB cables because that's what they are.
3) A pack of WASD blue (40A-R) o-rings
4) CM Storm QFR with Browns purchased on the last day of Amazon's price match of Newegg ($65 shipped)

What's on its way and should be here next week:

1) Set of billiard keycaps from Greystoke
2) PLU ML-87 board with MX Reds purchased from the link in this thread. Used fleBay's best offer to get a few bucks off the buy it now price.
3) Another pack of WASD blue o-rings and three custom keycaps from them
4) A Tampa Bay Lightning baseball cap
5) A Joby GorillaPod tripod

What should be on its way but I have no idea when it will arrive:

1) A Ducky Shine II TKL with MX Blacks. Won it for super cheap on fleBay, but the seller has not indicated that he has shipped. Hope I won't have to file an item not received case as I really want this board. After messing around with Black switches for a while, I don't hate them as much as I used to. Having o-rings really helps.

That's quite a lot of stuff!  Going to be fun sorting through all that :D

I've got some soldering supplies on the way, LEDs from different vendors in China, a keyboard to work on, and some paint I ordered from Amazon.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Got my WASD V2. Some of the legends I put on the keycaps didn't come out right (see the hollow rectangles on Insert, Delete and End, and the duplicated ¾ on 8) but Weyman at WASD has offered to replace them for me, it seems there was some sort of issue with the Corel Draw file I sent him. Other than that, I am really quite happy with how the design turned out, the keyboard is really well built, and the Clears with O-rings are great to type on, they're definitely the best Cherry MX switch I've use (I think I've used most of them at this stage)
