I was actually considering buying one of the leopold fc660m keyboards. Is the quality of the board relatively good? If anyone knows the keyboard is  good quality and comfortable to use I would appreciate them getting back to me because I am about to pull the trigger and buy one of these.  ;D so please respond with so feedback  :thumb:

Leopold is a great company, and I've only heard good things about the FC 660M, other than the pad printing on the keycaps. Another concern may have to do with the spacebar stem placement, as they are not usually compatible with other spacebars. You'd have to get a universal spacebar to fit that. Other than that, you will get an awesome sturdy keyboard with top of the class construction. I own the 660C, which has amazing construction, and the outside construction seems near identical to the M.

Another 20" 4:3 LCD.

I wish Intel HD supported triple-head through digital outputs. It really bothers me, because both AMD and nVidia have awful drivers, I don't care about GPU performance, and the cheapest graphic card, that supports triple head, appears to be €50 Sapphire HD6450 FLEX with only 2-year warranty (nearly every other card has one extra year).

Mailman dropped this at my door yesterday.
The seller didn't package it properly. Keyboard box was inserted in a plastic envelope with no protection. This thing got bounced around badly. Box was punched, crushed and all corners rounded. I didn't have much hope when I opened it but... Miracle, all keys work fine (for now)

If you want the best color accuracy just shoot RAW and leave it on Auto, then you can go and fine tine the WB after the fact :)

It's the one thing I miss about selling off all my camera equipment, my Nexus 4 can NEVER get the WB right.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I would if I could.  Only JPEG on this camera :(  Still, it was a real bargain when I got it, so I make do.  But I plan on getting a new one next year.  Was going to be this year but didn't see any good deals on something that would be a dramatic upgrade.  It's okay though, now that my stupid omission of white balance fine-tuning has been remedied, photos should come out better (I was cycling through preset white balance settings, of which there are a lot, but indoors, none are quite right, so manually tweaking the white balance colors is great now).

Some cameras will let you balance the white levels by taking a photo of a blank sheet of white paper in the light element your shooting in it should balance your white levels.

Always better to shoot in RAW so you can adjust later, though. Plus, lossless edits are nice :D

You quoted the post where it says directly that there's no RAW format possible!  In either case, I'm good now with manual white balance settings.  And I always do post-processing later anyway to make sure all the colors look proper.  But starting out with good white balance is important.

Some various keycaps from a couple of recent sales.
Some other stuff that I've forgotten about.
Tai Hao.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Not in the mail but going to pick up my steel for my Brushed Behemoth project tomorrow from the shop.  I am getting an 18"x18"x1/2" and a 18"x8"x1/4" piece of 304 stainless for $50.  Only reason I am getting this kind of a deal is because they had a large project come in using stainless and I am just getting a couple drops from behind the shear.
