NIB AT101W!!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/201020123387?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Got it for $40 instead of $50. Can't wait to get it.
What is with the sudden dell obsession?

I have multiple dell laptops, multiple dell monitors, and I just like dell overall. Their quality is starting to go down the drain, but this board is made way before that time period.

dell monitors are always among the best....along with the best warranties.

HHKB Pro 2 arriving tomorrow!

Plus I splurged and got something for it.  Think of Little Twin Stars, but they're dead.  Those will arrive in about a month.

Very tempted to get the topre tkl 55g, but I resisted (I added it to the shopping cart, and then removed it at least 5 times in the past 2 days).

Money isn't the primary concern, but I tried to downsize everything. Stuff are owning me so bad.

Got the EK lube #1 and lube #2 instead. After changing the keycaps on one of my QFR, the keys with stabilizer rattle so bad I'd rather use the stock QFR.

Hopefully the lube will fix that.

I've got the patience from group buy and all but it has been 4 months almost and I'm still waiting for originative to ship my classic beige set, no email response from sherry since he got back to the states :(

As a turn of event (like I keep telling myself otherwise) I still end up getting the 55g. Hopefully it will arrive by friday otherwise I cannot write my review during the weekend.

Oh well, have to find something to get rid of at home since I promised myself I have to stop accumulating more stuff.

EK Lube #1 & #2 will come in tomorrow  :thumb:

Seems to be the last place on earth that has them since Realforce is no longer making color keycaps, and not many left (Google translate calls them blue if that's how you are reading the page)

I expect it will be an interesting grab bag. Probably harvest the industrials terminal boards for spare caps.

Not looking forward to cleaning of caps and de-cheeto-ing of the internals.

Anyone know what is best for cleaning caps? Just detergent and water, or is there something that is magic?

Care to elaborate on what you mean?

Calling the boards industrial, meaning you don't know the fundamental basics of IBM keyboards. Don't know the basics on cap cleaning, meaning you won't have the slightest idea on how to refurb these to a usable and respectable state.

I hope I'm wrong on this assumption and you do something somewhat useful with these boards...

I found the easiest thing was to put them in a mesh bag (laundry, potatoes, etc.) and throw them in the dishwasher.  If that doesn't do it then I use denture cleaner.

I meant terminal - there are no industrials in the haul. I just one post before had said "Some SSK, some Terminal boards, and 2 never used 102s!"

I was tired and mistyped, probably because I'd just looked at an actual industrial SSK on eBay that had gone for over $1000.

I said what I said because terminal boards are hard to get working on PCs due to using type 3 encoding.

And why would I say I would harvest an industrial, when they sell for the highest prices?

I found the easiest thing was to put them in a mesh bag (laundry, potatoes, etc.) and throw them in the dishwasher.  If that doesn't do it then I use denture cleaner.

Thanks, I'll try it out!

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
My S3 needed to be replaced. I have been checking UPS every hour looking for updates. Still another 24 hours away :(

You're going to absolutely love it. I know I love mine. It's pretty much a pocket PC.

It's a Poker 2 with red switches  :thumb: :p They expect it to arrive on tuesday  ^-^ My very first mechanical keyboard  :-X :p I'm excited  ;D ;D :D

Very nice. Although I hate 60% for general use, the aesthetic aspect always allure me to get one, maybe just to play a few rounds of type racer. I'll get a hhkb & poker 2, eventually...

Meanwhile another topre is in the mail, this time a variable weight silent  so I can complete my evaluation of 45G, 55G and type-s

damaged Roccat Kone for experiments with switches

Sennheiser HD 250 Linear. I'm getting into collecting old senns, ugh. They're easier to store than keyboards. ^_^
