Picked up this sexy little Toshiba T3200 with Alps:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOSHIBA-T3200-LAPTOP-PA7039U-AS-IS-/310566538378?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&nma=true&si=8w3jeKA7M2tXvoY8Dgg4c8QoKzs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Now it's just the mail waiting game.  I probably could have offered less, but I'm still happy with what I paid for it since it was dramatically less than the ridiculous price they were asking for.

Nice! I have the caps from a very similar one coming as well. Same alphas, mods, and spacebar, but no numpad.

My HHKB should be arriving tomorrow. I got to test Topre on an FC660C before buying and I was in Japan last week and got to get my hands on trying an actual one over there. It felt amazing, my only issue would be that it's light, but that's more of a personal preference, I'm crazy hyped to use it when it arrives.

Topre is a bit cheaper there, yeah, I had been planning on buying one when I went over, but a few days before I left someone sold me theirs with an extra black keyset for $200 and I figured it was a better deal than buying a new one.

Nice choice on the case.  I have the FT02 myself.  Trying to talk my wife into a silverstone case as well.

I've always wanted an FT02.  I'm actually downsizing from an Arc midi R2 to this ft03.  I'm picking up parts for my ft03 right now and will sell off everything in my midi R2 build.  So much work but it's my third build since september.

Good luck on talking the misses in to the case.  I don't imagine the topic of cases approaching the $200 mark would go well.   ;D

Shouldn't be to tough.  I actually down sized to the FT02.  My case before this was the original Cooler Master Stacker with 13 drive bays down the front.  Had room for an extended ATX motherboard AND 2 power supplies.

 I would be scared to wear those :P

Why? Is it the price?

I'm fairly rough on my shoes, I don't think those would survive and yes at that price I wouldn't want to mess them up. :D

Supposedly it's actually a different pattern, and it's certainly nicer leather. It's also Viberg, so that's certainly a factor in the price. The quality doesn't get too much better than Viberg.

Early birthday present from my parents

So... standard military boots 100 years ago, $700 designer boots now. Interesting

Supposedly it's actually a different pattern, and it's certainly nicer leather. It's also Viberg, so that's certainly a factor in the price. The quality doesn't get too much better than Viberg.

Those are a little more rugged than I need for NYC, haha. Still cool though.

I'll probably only wear these when it's above freezing, considering that they're not exactly super beefy. My helix are they pretty though.
