Got my headset!  The box it came in looks like UPS ran it over a few times, but the headset seems undamaged >_0

MX summer set. :)

umad or ubot?

seriously, who else got umad?  i've only seen me with mx and one guy with topre.

I got a Topre set (posted in the other thread so that "one guy" might be moi) in the mail. Kind of curious as to how many sets there are.

Bro caps did say they were pretty limited.

never thought he would have meant 'one' lol

Cannot be one UMAD set. There is at least 4 MX sets as Bro Caps took a photo of this four sets in his keyboard.
I am not sure how many Topre UMAD set though.

Got a Raspberry Pi from Mkawa, a keycap from cherps, my HolyOOPS key(s?) finally (minus a BrBa one which is the one I REALLY wanted) and now a 240gb SSD for only £120!

Excited.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

The parts for my mini-itx Quakecon build.

Borrowing the RAM and possibly 290X from my main rig, want something I can fit in a suit case.

On a side note, has anyone had experience in taking a closed loop liquid cooler through the TSA?  Should I leave it in my checked bag and assemble when I get there or will they not have a problem with it?  Thanks.

That's an interesting looking computer case in the picture there. I wonder what type of case that would be called--almost looks like a tower that got cut off a third the way though.

It is supposed to be a mini-itx tower.  It's a pretty big one though, not nearly as big as a Bitfenix Prodigy though.  Bought it specifically so that I can fit it in a carry on bag on the plane.

My wooden wrist rest from tigersharkdude is in the mailbox at home and I'm sitting here at work for at least two more hours using this piece of junk Grifiti foam pad for plebeian chumps.

My keycap, 8 MX Switch & O-Ring sampler tester Kit is also in the mail from MaxKeyboards! Exciting!!!

Whoa! Angry Bro Set and package from Nubbs just cleared custom this morning. I should get both of them tomorrow. Exciting day, tomorrow. That's like 5 days after it left the sorting center! USPS international sorting center in Los Angeles is the best usps!! Very reliable and predictable.

Edit: English is such a strange language. I want to say usps is the ****, which is a compliment. But if I say usps is ****, that's an insult. Lol!

I've gone broken record in that thread with that question.  I love how we get ignored aside from ApocalypseMaow's plate updates.

I really was only pseudo joking when I asked if TheProfosist had taken over the GB.

I by no means have any problems with 90% of the organizers, but it's just being ignored with that repeated timeline request that is starting to worry me

Also, some WinXP licenses + installation CDs. Quite useful for comfortable making use of old hardware, playing old games and stuff.

I wish I had a spare one at times. There's the tiniest kink in my ball and it gets caught every now and then... also one of the buttons makes two clicking noises sometimes (thankfully though it only single clicks when it does this).

Best trackball!

PMK Granite set is still in the mail, but getting closer.

It has reached Australia!

Maybe, just maybe, I'll get it tomorrow :)  Or most likely early next week.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's this housing: http://www.gonskeyboardworks.com/housingscases/82-acrylic-housing-for-nerd-tkl.html

And everything is gonna be a neon green. All green LEDs as well (in switch and side)
