=/ All I ever see is WTB threads. I don't think there is ever a chance of me getting a CC out of crazy luck jumping into a sale hah.

I sold 2 clacks on reddit yesterday/today. Might sell gummyrot skull in topper and gummyrot gumrot in MX as well.

Good week for me this week, got a G80-5700 (€20!) and a fully working Psion MC400 (complete with bat**** insane layout keyboard) for £40.

Oh, and I'm having a baby on Monday as well so I guess whilst it isn't in the post, is on its way...
Congratulations mate! Mainly for the last one :p

I need to check /r/mechanicalkeyboards more often :(
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Thanks dude, equal parts terrified and excited at this point...never thought I'd have 2 kids before I was 30, funny how life turns out!

Anyway, I'm hoping that I can find a use for the Psion (check out the front printed numpad layer as well btw), seems a shame to rip the guts out of a relatively rare piece of hardware for just the keyboard.

Viper, Dolch, stabilisers and springs coming soon! I'm excited to see who wins the race. Just too bad that I can't built the damn board because my soldering station has been in repair for 4 weeks now. That company is really ****. They keep ignoring my emails and I even had to pay shipping because they didn't trust me!

It's a pretty serious addiction.

I like that BTC 80 key, have not seen before. Deploy E'bay scanners.

Tfe 5100C is foam over foil switches.  I wouldn't recommend it.

I thought only the original 5100 had the foam and foil switches. The 5100C has the same slider as the foam and foils, but it sits on top of rubber domes over a PCB.

You're right on that. Neither are great still.  The only one worth getting is the one with Alps or Monterey Blues.

All the same, gotta try it out for myself. I just like the different feels and sounds of different boards. :)
Speaking of the Monterey, though, my MiniTouch with Monterey Blues came in today, bought from intelli78 in the classifieds! It feels a thousand times better than the white sliders.

Reminds me of when I sold my Neo-Geo Pocket Color, 2 Game Boy Colors,  (all systems in perfect condition, 2 with original boxes), 3 Neo-Geo games, 18 Gameboy games including 3 Pokemon games, one of which was Pokemon Red with original box and everything for $50 at a garage sale because I was 90% asleep when someone asked me if I had any games to sell. :(

I hope I have some silver things in the mail.  Still.

Something orange is on its way too.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
