Olympia typewriter keyboard with Marquardt clicky “butterfly” switches.

Ahh, someone finally bought that one from eBay?  I sent it to Bluebar a bit ago to see if he wanted it since it was in Germany.  Or did you find it more locally?

Someone did buy the German one with the great keycaps (I wish I had noticed it or I would have; was it someone on Geekhack? Or someone who wants a typewriter maybe...). I got one from Staten Island (the guy’s going to just ship the keyboard part, not the full typewriter). http://www.ebay.com/itm/231376672716?orig_cvip=true

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

These should be an interesting next couple of weeks... Got 2 shipping notices from SP, my package with GMK Dolch and some PCB's with Black switches from Ivan is in customs processing and I've got stuff coming in from Italy and the UK, too... It's like Christmas is coming early for me this year  :D  My Penumbra set arrived about a week ago and the Vault 13 novelty caps arrived yesterday, too.

But my first ever GB (Ivan's PBT Round 3 Black on Black) still hasn't completed production...
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Aye, was just going by what the eBay page for each said :P I would go by metric normally but saying 100 ft seems a little tidier than ~30.5 m.

My first Clack, a Night Owl Mk. II in Topre flavour. Technically it isn't in the mail yet but I just paid the invoice from EK.

In addition to that...

- Two Brobots, YOLO Yellow and Ice (both T)
- A Leopold 210TP with MX Clears
- Black walnut wristrest for the HHKB from Massdrop
- 3 x navy blue Kershaw Chives. One for home, one for the office and one for the girlfriend.

So yeah, you could say I'm excited.

OnePlus One incoming!
Estimated delivery tomorrow!

Which is great considering my preorder spot was 4-5 weeks estimated!

(My order status still says 1-2 weeks)

Super excited!
