You must be pretty excited.  Is this your first XT or F or just another?

It is my second F.  But the first one I got is very rare and has an 8 channel cap sense chip instead of the 4 channel in the "standard" XT.  So that one is proving very difficult to convert.  This one should just require Soarers converter.  So it is the first one that will be usable.

I bought them from a used board, and from my experience, broken in switches feel a lot better than new ones. I would guess it has to do with the stem and the housing wearing down from use.

i am going to use clear too, but with 85g gold springs.  i am going to use the clear switch came from my wey keyboard, it is super smooth

This was the case for me today LOL I came home to find the package containing my RF87u covered in 3 inches of snow.... doh. At least none of it got into the box... I had to "thaw" the board out because the plastic casing wasn't sitting properly. An hour indoors and the board reverted back to its original, glorious shape!

In any case... I hate Midwestern winters

I built my PC 1.5 years ago, with an older GPU, but other than that it was all current, and since I don't play many newer games, it has lasted great, and I don't feel a need to upgrade it for the next 2 or 3 years except for more hd space.
