Great :) I was just curious, as it seems like pretty big surgery.
The uniform 45g seems rare, so it would be a good sale too.

Yeah, exitfire said it was pretty easy to sell after he did the swap.

I think mine sold a week after listing. A lot of people want 45 uniform boards, but either don't want the red leds on the ek edition or want a price break on them. They move relatively quickly.

I'm going to change the LEDs out for white ones. Do you reckon the modes would stay the same?

I hated the FC660C when I tried it.  The HHKB, on the other hand, is quite nice.

Same here. Enjoyed the novatouch over the 660c as well.

Yeah, I was torn between the two, but in the end I'm just not sure I would like the HHKB layout.  Plus I like the way the FC660C looks, and the way it sounds from the videos I've seen.

If by some chance I really dig the Topre switch I will consider getting a HHKB.

I quite like the feel of both of them, but I think I prefer the feel of the topre on the hhkb slightly more. I do enjoy the hhkb layout a lot more though, but miss the weight of the FC660C

My ergoclears are the closest I currently have that doesn't have that spring-y feel. I just bought a rs96 in the GB and I hope to try ghost blacks on that board, because the one ghost black I currently have feels really nice.

I'm bracing for the change! I think I'll definitely stick with it for atleast a month before deciding anything drastic, but for gaming I'll probably stick to browns and then I'm taking the HHKB to work.

Not my style but the colors are very vibrant.
On a side note, if you think those pics suck, please never look at mine :(.

Honestly I just dont think my camera liked the teal. Cause the teal is particular is absurdly blurry and muted in that picture. It looks light blue instead of teal.

Got a nice PC upgrade headed my way, finally pulled the trigger. I'm going from an 8-year old Core 2 Duo e8400 with a Geforce 9600 GT to an i5 4690K with a GTX 970. My mind is ready to be blown.
dear lord prepare for the orgasm(s)

That's the way you are suppose to upgrade :thumb:

Congratulations - please let us know if it helps (you'll probably need a week or two to get used to the layout, and to see whether it helps in your situation).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
