I bought one of the SSK's out of the 24 Elecplus recently found over at DT. Realllyyy stoked to get this board, I've been dreaming of an SSK ever since I got my hands on my Model M. I'm considering sending it to Phosphorglow to have him do some work on it (those coloured plates and in-switch LEDs look great!), or maybe I will just do a bolt mod myself.

Yeah, I know.  Yours arrived before the other one came up, in fact I am using the one I got from you at work right now to type this :)

Yes - my name's been on the list for a while and I wasn't expecting anything sufficiently cheap to turn up so soon.  I think Cindy acquired a bunch of them from a school somewhere.

You should PM Elecplus over at DT or post in one of her threads asking to be put on the list for a used or NIB SSK. Then when she has one for you, she will PM you. She sold these SSK's for only $75 each.

They were part of five pallets of keyboards she acquired from a recycler I think. The ones from the school (with the school name engraved on the bottom of the board) were regular Model M's.

Congratz on getting one off of the list Rowdy. I'm excited to try mine, I'm sure it will quickly become my daily driver.

Now I just need a BS Bro or CC...

Waiting on my HKP Chinese New Year Warmaster to arrive.

Not actually in the mail until Monday: An IBM Model F 107, because I clearly need a bigger keyboard that probably won't actually fit on the keyboard surface of my desk, but gods are they sexy. Plus, all the keys. All of them. Well almost all since the F122s have more but y'know.

Other boards: Kinesis Essential, Infinity(G.Clears), Ergodox(MX Blues), Monoprice 9433

Eternally searching for Celestial Blue BS V2 and blue/purple Bros.

Scored it for $33 shipped with a whole computer.  I sent a message to the seller saying they could just ship the keyboard since I would just take the junk computer to an e-waste recycler.  It looks like doubleshot G80 to me, but we'll see when it gets to me.

Scored it for $33 shipped with a whole computer.  I sent a message to the seller saying they could just ship the keyboard since I would just take the junk computer to an e-waste recycler.  It looks like doubleshot G80 to me, but we'll see when it gets to me.

NICE GET! Definitely looks doubleshot to me! G81? Either way, nice!

Sweet! The Ncase is a great case. Still have to make some money to fill mine. Then I'll have to decide if I prefer silver or black. ;)

Right on, they are sold out of the black one without an ODD slot, so I went silver.  :)  Usually not a fan of silver computer stuff, most of the things on my desk are black, however their silver looks pretty nice.
