I just saw the name and thought "I've got to get one of those".  Then I realised what it was.  Then I tried to work out what else with a Z I could buy instead.

Well, now all doubt has been removed that I paid too much for it.  Live and learn I guess.  Assuming that I like the feel, I Think I'm going to put diodes in it and wire an xwhatsit controller to it to make it NKRO with solenoid optional.

You're right it does but if the Acer XB270HU was using a TN panel the gap wouldn't be as large as it is now.

The ROG swift is already $750 I can't imagine how much the IPS version is gonna be

I've got to agree on the glossy bezel, I'm not a fan of that. However it is fairly thin so once I eventually mount it on a stand I don't think it will bother me all too much.
