My first artisans are all on their way from across the globe :)

The Rustler, an Interstellar BBv2, Mana Pool SLS Esc, and three Hot Keys Project keycaps (Trooper, Raven, Armor v2). Oh! Also a Dolly Champagne Fn Keycap.

Yeah it's very lucky - I don't wanna know how long the wait times are for reordering Topre boards

It's a real long time. I first asked for information after they had made the order with Topre, and it felt like forever until anything else happened. Probably wasn't as long as I remember it being, but when I had my mind set on it, I was going insane by the end of it.

Feeling really good about this purchase now  :D
Have to wait till to the end of the month though till I'm home
You should be :) well worth the wait!

Another keyboard :D

How many keyboards do you have, already?

too many ;)

I don't understand the use of that phrase in relation to keyboards.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That's cool!  Which Model M did you get?  There are quite a few different models.

It's a "plain" IBM Enhanced Keyboard. I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, its designation is F1?

And actually, the label on this seems to be scratched off, so I will need some help with ID-ing it when it arrives. It has a black letters logo on the left part of the keyboard.

Edit: It finally arrived. More pics and info in my introduction post -> https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=76303.0
