welp, taobao ****ed up on me.

ordered an infinity kit in standard layout with blank dsa black caps, kb came in today, preassembled with some ****ty 2$ abs caps with gamer font. I'd be ok with that if the actual layout of the keyboard was the same as a proper infiinity (for some reason, bkspc and rshift are regular size so i have less keys than i should).

It's usable, I just need a new set of keycaps and need to program this thing to work with this new layout. Also, the top right corner of the keyboard is slightly raised so when I press backspace the entire keyboard moves which irritates me, so I probably have to sand down the top left corner to make everything level.

Cherry G84-5500 i won on Ebay for an 18$ Shipped bid,  figured it was a cheap way to finally try Cherry ML for myself and at worst i will use it with the bedroom HTPC since it has a built in touchpad.

Haha ill bear that in mind...just terrified pulling that many alps switches on an older board...not sure if i am brave enough.  Even fresh cherry mx clears i have no issues with but ALPS pulling scares the **** out of me...on so tight.

Cooler Master Rapid-I for $35 and free shipping. How could I not at that price! Will probably have to replace all the led's but I still feel like it's worth it. Now I just have to decide what color...
