Yeah, I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg, money-wise...  I have switches and keycaps, but I still to need to source everything else.   :'(

Two ErgoDox PCB's are quite inexpensive.

Unless you're talking about what it's going to take to turn them into fully functioning boards.

ErgoDox #2 from Round 3! And hopefull (fingers crossed) a pair of Yamaha HS7 studio monitors with matching HS8S subwoofer and an IK Multimedia ARC II room correction plugin/mic.
Are you supposed to get an Email from Massdrop specifying that they shipped your kit?
I know they said they were fulfilling orders this last week and I still haven't gotten any email with tracking or whatever.

A CPU cooler (Scythe Samurai Z) should have arrived today, or even earlier... Well, too late. The stock Intel one works fine for me, when it isn't 35 °C or more.

More on-topic, I've decided to try the Zalman vertical mouse. BTC 8120 (split rubber dome) should be in the mail as well.

A better place to post this would have been here.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
