anyone have some LZ friends? i dont want to buy the rest of the kits :)

Like I said, I'd buy in if there was a compatible case available to buy with it, but there isn't (and the Ironman case isn't compatible either according to LZ).
I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

Updated op with the new plate pictures.

Just saw this.  Might buy.  I'll have to think about it.

Let me check, but im 90% sure controller parts come presoldered.
Nice  :thumb:

gais where are your orders? :D

Dont make me buy the rest of the kits to meet the MOQ.

Budget and lack of a case is holding me back.  Plus, I might be falling out of love with Alps.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

You can check the Lz link in the op. But I added a list which are the ones I know fit,  the RE I have to check  if it's compatible but I don't think so.

Awesome list thanks :D LZ S looks so good.

Theres someone selling a LZ R but in the OP it says its not compatible. What part on it causes the incompatibility? Would modding maybe make it work?

Its because of the screw on the plate

No we can't fix it by modding bro haha

I've got a Realforce coming in today, courtesy of Axtran, so I'll finally be able to compare Alps SKCM Brown and Alps SKCM Neon Green (Lime, or whatever) to Topre as so many make comparisons there.

I don't think I could ever give up on Alps though, because I love the switches for more than just their feel. The history of Alps and their design in general just charms the hell out if me.

Eh, I guess it's not surprising to anyone that knows my preferences, but I tried some Topre finally, and I definitely don't prefer it over Alps.

Alps SKCM Brown and Alps SKCM Neon Green definitely feel like very close equivalents, kind of like a mechanical Topre switch (clacky bottoming out as opposed to the rubbery thock of Topre).

Oh, someday I'll totally drop some cash on making a fun custom Topre rig or something, since I admire all the customization people put in to Topre stuff! I just don't think it's my favorite kind of switch is all. They are incredibly smooth, but they don't have that separation that I feel with mechanical compared to anything made from rubber. I know I'd get slayed for this comment, lol.

They are very nice though. :) I guess I've just sold my soul to Alps. :P

I think topre is something that kinda grows on you the more you use it. You can't just judge it by typing on it a few times. When I first got it I was like meh, but as I used it for a few weeks it really grew on my and became my main board for two years. Anywho, back on topic: I would have jumped on this immediately but I'm having a hard time finding a board/case that would fit. :(

I'd order 2 if I could just get the PCB, since I have 3 bottoms for my Orion v2. I plan on having two tops built out of acrylic and getting some plates done so I can have all of them go into separate boards.

But there's really no need for me to buy it with the LZ plate. It'd be, like, impossible for me to sell JUST an Alps plate to someone unless, on the off chance, they really wanted to handwire a TKL Alps board or had a PCB of their own, but no plate, which is even less likely.

Done. Now, do the RGB LEDs not come presoldered onto the PCB in this case? They did with the Orion v2. I ask because of the RGB LED option.

And resistors too apparently.

Oh well, these will likely sit for a while before being built as I'll need to get the plates made elsewhere. :P

Also, just wanted a more accurate representation of the PCBs as these are probably what we will be getting (ignore the circles; it was taken from a question in the Orion v2 thread):

So it'll be a red PCB as opposed to a white PCB unless this version is different.

Sup guys, I'm going away this  weekend, will have zero Internet(an island with ****ty  cellphone coverage) we are just 3pcbs from the moment so I'll keep this open until Friday to give it a shot. Have had a crazy week at work/home  I'll try writing the questions today to leeku before I leave.

good news, we have met the moq! 19 kits in total!

also, Leeku will include diodes and resistors with the pcbs(not pre soldered) I will start sending out invoices during the day.

Thanks everyone who made this happen.

Half the invoices have gone out, i have to talk with LZ regarding shipping multiple kits. ie what the price will be. also shipping outside the specified area needs to be specified.

In the meantime , for those who havent ,please specify what plates you want. Or send me a pm with the information
